Prescription Drugs Stolen During ValuCare Pharmacy Robbery

The robbery occurred six days after Walgreens on Sunset Drive was robbed of oxycodone pills.

The Waukesha Police Department is investigating a second pharmacy robbery that occurred less than a week after Walgreens was robbed during the Christmas parade.

Police were called to the 501 S. Grand Ave., at 1:46 p.m. Saturday for a report of a man robbing the store of oxycodone pills. The man, who had his face covered, told an employee he had a gun in his pocket. The clerk didn’t see a gun but noticed the man did have something in his pocket, according to the Waukesha Police Department’s call log.

The man left the scene before police were called. However, he was described as being a white male in his 20s, about five-foot six-inches tall with a dark-blue hooded sweatshirt, jeans and brown work gloves. The man left northbound, according to the call log.
