Police Report: Wife Stabs Husband in Elbow, Vandalism and Intoxication

Brief summaries of police calls for Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 5 and 6

The following items are brief summaries from the call log for Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 5 and 6. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Wife stabs husband in elbow: A woman was arrested following a domestic disturbance reported at Monday 5:42 p.m. A man in emergency department said he was stabbed in the elbow by his wife during an argument at their home in Pebble Valley.

Vandalism: A man was reported to be tipping over a newspaper box and hitting street signs in the 2100 block of Ruben Drive Tuesday at 5:50 a.m. In the same area and around the same time, a front window was reported broken in the 1700 block of Manhattan Drive at 6:17 a.m. The vandal did not entry gained to the building. A man matching the description of the man said to be tipping over the newspaper box was stopped a short time later by Town of Brookfield police on Springdale Road.

Intoxicated and out-of-control: A man was arrested after three calls were made to police about him being intoxicated, making threats and urinating off the bridge near Bank Street in the downtown area Monday 6:01 p.m.

Drunk driving: An elderly woman was arrested for intoxicated driving after a call was made to police about a reckless driver near Pearl Street and south Highway 164 Monday at 11:52 a.m. A caller told police that the car was all over the road and went into the shoulder.

Kid and neighbor trouble: A woman called police to report that her 12-year-old daughter was beaten up by neighbor child while at on Sunday. The caller’s husband did go speak to the other kid’s parents and got into a “heated” argument.

Theft

An arrest was made after a call to police about a suspicious man who was reported to be crouching down on the back deck, apparently trying to get the door open, of a home in the 400 block of Wisconsin Avenue Monday 7:10 p.m.

A guest at Hebron House, 812 N. East Ave., reported that their laptop was stolen and the suspect fled on foot Monday at 12:17 p.m.

A resident in the 400 block of Jackson Court reported that a neighbor was breaking into everyone’s mail boxes and opening hers and other people’s mail Monday at 10:07 p.m.
