Police Report: Vehicle Hits Mailboxes; Cars, House Egged

  • A person was advised about a loud noise at 7:47 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of West Newhall Avenue.
  • A car was hit by a vehicle at 7:55 a.m. Sunday in the 800 block of South Comanche Lane.
  • Three mailboxes were hit by an unknown vehicle at 8:10 a.m. Sunday in the 1800 block of Tallgrass Circle.
  • People reported finding a bag of drugs and drug paraphernalia at 11:02 a.m. Sunday in the 500 block of Arcadian Avenue.
  • A woman reported at 12:13 p.m. Sunday that she believed it was either her ex-husband or an unhappy student who egged her home in the 1700 block of Blackhawk Trail.
  • A man was warned via a voice message from police after it was reported he was harassing and swearing at a recall Gov. Scott Walker petitioner at 1:54 p.m. Sunday in the 2300 block of Kossow Road. In the same area, at 2:06 p.m. Sunday, a woman wanted police to take a dog that was with a person who was holding a sign away from the person. The person with the dog was gone before police arrived.
  • A man on a bicycle was reportedly going through recycling bins at 2:05 p.m. Sunday in the 2100 block of Kensington Drive.
  • A car was egged at 2:37 p.m. Sunday in the 2100 block of Sunkist Avenue.
  • A person’s iPhone was stolen but it was tracked via a GPS to the Waukesha County Jail at 4:49 p.m. Sunday in the 1500 block of Big Bend Road.
  • A person was egged at 6:11 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of West Main Street.
  • A person was arrested on a separate investigation after an argument was reported at 9 p.m. Sunday in the 2000 block of Kensington Drive.
  • People were warned after they were heard yelling over a cell phone at 10:08 p.m. Sunday in the 1900 block of Cardinal Drive.
  • Cash, a wallet, a cell phone charger and cigarettes were stolen from a car at 10:21 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of Estberg Avenue.
  • A person reported an identity theft that occurred in Arizona in 2003 at 10:25 p.m. Sunday in the 500 block of Lake Street.
  • A vehicle spun out and hit a mailbox at 10:29 p.m. Sunday in the 2700 block of Northview Road.
  • A vehicle parked at a business was covered in cardboard at 11:19 p.m. Sunday in the 1200 block of West Sunset Drive. Police learned it was a prank done by friends of the truck owner. No complaint was filed.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving after hitting a crosswalk pole and leaving the area at 11:22 p.m. Sunday at East Broadway and North Hartwell Avenue.
