Police Report: Vehicle Break-ins; Hair-Pulling Incident

Waukesha Police Department calls from Dec. 19 and Dec. 20.

  • GPSs and iPods were stolen from two vehicles parked at 9:13 a.m. Monday in the 900 block of Oakland Avenue.
  • Items were stolen from a vehicle break-in at 10:09 a.m. Monday in the 800 block of Harding Avenue.
  • A concealed carry incident was reported at 12:40 p.m. Monday at Waukesha South High School.
  • A theft of a purse from a cart was reported at 1:13 p.m. Monday at Walmart.
  • Three arrests were made at 2:34 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of East Main Street after a woman sent a text message saying she was being held against her will by a heroin dealer. The woman was among those arrested.
  • An arrest was made at 4:10 p.m. Monday in the 2300 block of Bluemound Road.
  • A theft of a purse, glasses, wallet and iPhone was reported at 4:41 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of Madison Street.
  • A woman reported at 5:03 p.m. Monday that she was being held against her will by people on drugs in the 400 block of East Main Street. The woman had walked into an apartment uninvited and had actually been confronted by her actions. The woman was advised.
  • An arrest was made on a warrant at 5:09 p.m. Monday in the 300 block of Sentinel Drive.
  • A woman reported to police at 5:14 p.m. Monday that her husband had pulled her hair in front of a sheriff’s deputy who was serving a restraining order at the residence in the 500 block of North East Avenue. The woman changed her story to say it happened while the deputy was outside the door. The deputy told police the hair-pulling incident happened when the woman’s dog jumped off the bed and the collar became tangled with her hair. The woman’s husband had been attempting to free her, according to the deputy. No complaint was filed.
  • A theft of medication was reported at 5:52 p.m. Monday in the 1000 block of Pewaukee Road.
  • A theft of medication was reported at 6:05 p.m. Monday in the 2800 block of North University Drive.
  • An ongoing problem with juveniles acting unruly was reported at 6:16 p.m. Monday in the 400 block of Harvey Avenue.
  • An unlocked vehicle was entered at 6:20 p.m. Monday in the 800 block of Blackstone Avenue.
  • An arrest was made after a restraining order violation was reported at 7:02 p.m. Monday in the 300 block of South Grand Avenue.
  • A man was warned after it was reported that he was asking customers at a gas station in the 400 block of Summit Avenue for money at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
  • An arrest was made during a traffic stop at 11:20 p.m. Monday at Highway 59 and East Sunset Drive.
  • A person was arrested during a traffic stop at 2:13 a.m. Tuesday at North Greenfield and East Racine avenues.
