Police Report: Urinating in Public; Dangerous Hair Dryer?

Waukesha Police Department calls from Aug. 8.

A woman reported at 4:10 p.m. Monday that she let a person stay at her house months after he was released from prison. The woman gave him money and a cell phone and the man eventually took off last week. Monday the man contacted her and said he was hit by a bus and that the hospital took his cash. The woman was advised about options by police in the 100 block of Corrina Boulevard.

In other Waukesha Police Department calls:

  • A Wisconsin State Patrol vehicle was damaged while it was parked at 7:04 a.m. Monday in the 1400 block of Rockridge Road.
  • A car window was smashed at 9:06 a.m. Monday in the 100 block of Corrina Boulevard.
  • A man was arrested after he was found sleeping in a community room at 10:04 a.m. Monday in the 1400 block of Rockridge Road.
  • The theft of electric trimmer, a gas can and a dolly was reported at 12:57 p.m. Monday in the 1500 block of David Lane.
  • A man reportedly was urinating out the door of his vehicle at 2:23 p.m. Monday in the 100 block of East St. Paul Avenue.
  • A disorderly conduct incident was reported at 4:03 p.m. Monday at Maple and Wisconsin avenues.
  • A person was arrested at 6:31 p.m. Monday in the 400 block of Sonya Drive after a domestic disturbance was reported.
  • A caller at Walmart reported there were two females fighting and that one of the women had made reference to having a gun at 11:04 p.m. Monday. Police responded and located the vehicle in the 300 block of Darlene Drive. The woman had jokingly held up a hair dryer to her friend and the women told police they had not been fighting.
  • A man who was sleeping on the side of a building in the 200 block of West Main Street at 11:52 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of West Main Street was advised.
