Police Report: Upset About a Chore, Theft of Mail

Waukesha Police Department calls from March 15 and March 16

A man, who was swearing at staff at the homeless shelter at 1721 Northview Road, apparently was upset when he was told to wake up and complete a chore at 6:49 a.m. Tuesday.

The man was advised not to return to the shelter because it was reported he was belligerent, profane, aggressive and threatening.

  • The theft of mail was reported at 9:01 a.m. Tuesday in the 1900 block of Bonnie Lane.
  • A disorderly conduct incident was reported at 9:04 a.m. Tuesday at Waukesha North High School..
  • A gas drive off of $20.01 was reported at 11:57 a.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of Fleetfoot Drive.
  • The theft of a truck was reported at 2:10 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of East Broadway.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant at 3:48 p.m. Tuesday at Ryan and Raymond streets.
  • The theft of a coin collection was reported at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday in the 2400 block of Springdale Road.
  • A man who was experiencing severe back pain was taken to the hospital after it was reported he was laying in the street at 8:08 p.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of West St. Paul Avenue. Another man helped the man get to the side of the road before police arrived on scene.
  • A man was arrested on warrants after it was reported the man was laying on the sidewalk at 10:09 p.m. Tuesday in the 1400 block of Delafield Street.
  • A man fled from the homeless shelter at 11:34 p.m. Tuesday in the 1700 block of Northview Road when he heard that the shelter staff was going to be sending his name in for a warrant check.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at the intersection of Madison Street and South Washington Avenue at 2:04 a.m. Wednesday.
  • A man was arrested on warrants at 2:46 a.m. Wednesday in the 900 block of North Hartwell Avenue after a fight was reported. Another man was cited for obstructing an officer after hiding the first man in a closet.
