Police Report: Unwelcome Note; Wallet Found

Waukesha Police Department calls from Dec. 24 and Dec. 25.

The following information was supplied by the  Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

  • A person found a wallet in the parking lot in the 2100 block of South West Avenue and noticed it had a large sum of cash in it. The wallet was turned over to police, who turned it over to its rightful owner at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
  • A person was arrested during a traffic stop at 5:29 p.m. Saturday in the 1800 block of Meadow Lane.
  • A woman reported she was being harassed by a man who was interested in her at 10 p.m. Saturday in the 2400 block of Springdale Road. The woman contacted police after she found a note the man left calling her “gorgeous.” The man admitted to writing the note, ripped it up and told the officer he had a girlfriend anyway. The woman did not file a complaint.
  • An arrest was made during a traffic stop at 12:02 a.m. Sunday at Highway 59 and Center Road.
  • An arrest was made after it was reported that two juveniles were sitting by an elevator at 12:03 a.m. Sunday in the 200 block of East St. Paul Avenue.
  • An arrest was made after a loud party was reported at 12:09 a.m. Sunday in the 100 block of Cambridge Avenue.
  • Arrests were made during a traffic stop at 12:13 a.m. Sunday at Grand Avenue and Sunset Drive.
  • A person was arrested at 1:45 a.m. Sunday at Jennifer Lane and East Moreland Boulevard.
