Police Report: Unwanted Valentine and Paper Airplanes in Study Hall

Waukesha Police Department calls from Feb. 10 and Feb. 11.

A woman received a valentine from a suspicious man while her car was parked at 7:42 p.m. Thursday at y, 321 Wisconsin Ave. The unwanted card was left on the woman’s vehicle. The library security promised to keep an eye on the woman.

In other calls:

  • A man was arrested for retail theft at 11 a.m. Thursday in the 2300 block of Bluemound Road.
  • A student was reported to be not listening to directions and swearing at school staff after he was confronted about making paper airplanes during study hall at 2:45 p.m. Thursday at Waukesha South High School, 401 E. Roberta Ave.
  • Police were asked to check for a man at 8:10 p.m. Thursday in the 2300 block of East Moreland Boulevard. The man was acussed of threatening to kill his wife and “all her boyfriends.” Another man reported the man was passing out his phone number and telling people to call the number if they wanted to have sex with the man’s wife. The man was not located.
  • A domestic abuse incident was reported with a juvenile suspect at 9:14 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of Central Avenue.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 1:36 a.m. Friday in the 1900 block of Delafield Street.
  • Three people were arrested – one on a warrant – after a fight was reported at 1:37 a.m. Friday at a bar in the 900 block of Friedman Drive.
  • A man was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving after it was reported he hit another car in a parking lot, fled the scene and then got his car stuck in a snowbank at 3:35 a.m. Friday in the 400 block of West Newhall Avenue.
  • A caller reported at 6:43 a.m. Friday that a 16-year-old boy would not get up for school. The caller canceled after the boy woke up in the 300 block of South Comanche Lane.
