Police Report: Truancy; Throwing a Beef Stick

  • A person was arrested on a warrant at 8:46 a.m. Thursday after he tried to check into a hotel at 8:46 a.m. Thursday in the 2500 block of Plaza Court. The hotel staff flagged him because he was accused of defrauding a hotel in Brookfield.
  • Three juveniles reportedly were found truant at 11:08 a.m. Thursday at Horeb Spring Park and were returned to their school.
  • A kindergarten left school at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in the 1100 block of South East Avenue and went to a grandma’s house. Police found the child and returned the child to the school.
  • A juvenile trouble incident was reported at 2:40 p.m. Thursday at Waukesha West High School.
  • A theft was reported at 3:05 p.m. Thursday in the 3200 block of River Valley Road.
  • A person was arrested after it was reported that a mentally handicapped man was being violent at 4:01 p.m. Thursday in the 3400 block of Sequoia Circle.
  • A theft of a laptop was reported at 4:51 p.m. Thursday at Goodwill, 1400 Nike Drive.
  • A fight was reported at 4:54 p.m. Thursday in the 1400 block of Nike Drive.
  • Two children reportedly were breaking glass in the road at 6:11 p.m. Thursday at North Porter Avenue and Frederick Street.
  • A person was arrested during a traffic stop at 6:21 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of East Broadway.
  • A person with a warrant out for his arrest was taken into custody at 9:39 p.m. Thursday in the 300 block of Darlene Drive.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant at 11 p.m. Thursday in the 1300 block of East Moreland Boulevard.
  • A missing juvenile was found, arrested and turned over to parents at 11:05 p.m. Friday after a disorderly conduct incident was reported at 11:05 p.m. Thursday in the 2500 block of Plaza Court.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving at 1:53 a.m. Friday at West St. Paul and Mountain avenues.
  • A fight was reported at 2:07 a.m. Friday at Frame and South Grand avenues but no complaint was wished.
  • A woman reportedly threw a beef stick at her fiancé’s child’s mother at 2:41 a.m. Friday in the 1600 block of Summit Avenue.
  • A battery was reported at 4:33 a.m. Friday in the 1000 block of Baxter Street.
