Police Report: Truancy; Playing Tennis at Park

Waukesha Police Department calls from Sept. 30 and Oct. 1.

  • A truancy incident was reported at 8:49 a.m. Friday at Waukesha South High School.
  • A disorderly conduct incident was reported at 9:17 a.m. Friday at Waukesha West High School.
  • A juvenile was cited at 9:46 a.m. Friday at Waukesha North High School.
  • Windows were reported damaged at 11:01 a.m. Friday in the 200 block of Maple Avenue.
  • A person reported at 12:09 p.m. Friday that a man and a woman have sex in a car near Rivera Drive and Big Bend Road daily. The couple was not located by police.
  • A person who burning paint-stained wood was warned at 12:16 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of West Park Avenue for burning rubbish.
  • A window was broken on a truck at 12:40 p.m. Friday in the 100 block of Cambridge Avenue.
  • A person who reportedly has mental problems reported at 12:42 p.m. Friday that someone had burglarized a residence in the 800 block of North East Avenue and stolen food. Police determined the call was unfounded.
  • A disorderly conduct incident was reported at 2:01 p.m. Friday at Horning Middle School.
  • A disorderly conduct incident was reported at 2:21 p.m. Friday at Waukesha South High School.
  • A person was arrested after a theft was reported  at 2:52 p.m. Friday at Waukesha North High School.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant at 3:20 p.m. Friday in the 800 block of North East Avenue.
  • A person was warned about a loud noise violation at 4:43 p.m. Friday in the 2000 block of South Grand Avenue.
  • A woman reported at 8:01 p.m. Friday that she suspected a grandchild had stolen jewelry from her in the 100 block of South West Avenue. The woman was unsure if she wanted to file a complaint and no report was filed.
  • An intoxicated man who was staggering in the road at 8:51 p.m. Friday at South University Drive and Pendleton Place.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving at 10:04 p.m. Friday at North West Avenue and Elizabeth Street.
  • Police responded to a fight at 10:30 p.m. Friday in the 1000 block of Pewaukee Road.
  • A person was cited for noise after a loud argument was reported at 10:31 p.m. Friday in the 2000 block of Macarthur Road.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant after a verbal disagreement was reported at 10:59 p.m. Friday in the 2000 block of Stonehaven Court.
  • People were cited for a loud noise violation at 12:22 a.m. Saturday in the 2400 block of Springdale Road.
  • Police were called to a bar at 12:47 a.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of The Strand after it was reported that shots were fired and a man was down. However, when police responded, they quickly learned there were no problems at the bar and that the call was unfounded.
  • People who were playing tennis at 2:04 a.m. Saturday at Buchner Park were warned and told to go home.
  • One person was detained after a fight was reported at 2:34 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Williams Street.
  • Two people were arrested after it was reported at 2:52 a.m. Saturday that they kicked in a window in the 300 block of North Grand Avenue.
  • A caller reported at 3:22 a.m. Saturday that the caller swerved to miss a deer and landed in a ditch at Northview Road and Patrick Lane. A tow truck was called for the vehicle.
  • People were warned about loud noise at 4:38 a.m. Saturday in the 2000 block of Madera Street.
