Police Report: Truancy; Drunk With Glow Sticks

Waukesha Police Department calls from Sept. 9 and Sept. 10.

  • A person was cited for truancy at 8:27 a.m. Friday at Waukesha South High School.
  • A person reported that flower pots and garden items were damaged and put on her car at 8:32 a.m. Friday in the 500 block of Maple Avenue.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant at 10:44 a.m. Friday after it was reported that a young woman was yelling in the 2300 block of East Moreland Boulevard.
  • A person was arrested after a car accident was reported at 11:50 a.m. Friday at South East Avenue and East Sunset Drive. One vehicle had reportedly left the scene.
  • An arrest was made after it was reported at 2:44 p.m. Friday that juveniles were beating another juveniles at North Grand Avenue and Williams Street.
  • A theft was reported at Waukesha Public Library at 3:24 p.m. Friday.
  • A person reported at 5:31 p.m. Friday that the neighbor kids were being disrespectful, rang the doorbell and chased a chipmunk into her garden at 5:31 p.m. Friday in the 1400 block of Big Bend Road.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving after it was reported at 6:31 p.m. Friday in the 100 block of North Moreland Boulevard that two intoxicated men who could hardly walked got into the vehicle.
  • A person was reportedly was driving recklessly at 6:48 p.m. Friday at Jefferson Avenue and East Moreland Boulevard. The caller thought the driver was 12 years old. Police made contact with the driver, who was not 12 and who did have a license, and advised the driver about the complaint.
  • A textbook was found ripped up at 8:54 p.m. Friday in the 200 block of West Roberta Avenue.
  • A grill and lawn chairs were reportedly stolen at 10:28 p.m. Friday in the 900 block of Lawndale Avenue.
  • An intoxicated man who fell asleep at a table in the 300 block of Delafield Street was woken up by police at 11:01 p.m. Friday and moved along.
  • People who were playing loud music at 11:03 p.m. Friday turned it down in the 400 block of Wabash Avenue.
  • A man was arrested after it was reported he pushed around his ex-wife and poured vodka on her at 12:20 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Tenny Avenue.
  • A bar in the 300 block of Williams Street reported at 2:04 a.m. Saturday that staff found a Department of Corrections ankle bracelet in the toilet.
  • A man was arrested at 2:13 a.m. Saturday after it was reported that he rang up a $100 bill at a bar in the 300 block of Williams Street and gave a credit card that did not belong to him. The man provided a second credit card, which was declined.
  • Noisy people at Country Springs Hotel were warned to go back into their hotel  room at 3:23 a.m. Saturday.
  • A man wearing a Cubs shirt reportedly was crying, screaming and ringing a doorbell at 4:12 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Maple Avenue.
  • A person was arrested at 4:34 a.m. Saturday after it was reported that teenagers with glow sticks were talking about being intoxicated in the 2100 block of Grayfox Court.
