Police Report: Throwing Water Balloons; Copper Theft

Waukesha Police Department calls from Aug. 2 and Aug. 3.

Three people were taken into custody when police came to arrest one man on a warrant at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at West Newhall and South Grand avenues. Tasers were used at the scene after a foot pursuit. An ambulance was also called to the 300 block of Harrison Avenue for a woman who was about 60 years old and had passed out during the incident.

In other Waukesha Police Department calls:

  • The theft of steel was reported at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the 1300 block of Pearl Street.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant after being cleared for jail at 10:29 a.m. Tuesday at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.
  • The theft of copper was reported at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday in the 1600 block of Airport Road.
  • A juvenile was arrested for a domestic disturbance at 12:33 p.m. Tuesday in the 1800 block of Shepherd Court.
  • Items were reported stolen from a vehicle at 12:52 p.m. Tuesday in the 2900 block of Lookout Ridge Court.
  • The theft of medication was reported at 3:12 p.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of Wilson Avenue.
  • A parks and recreation leader told three children at 4:25 p.m. Tuesday to stop throwing water balloons at Buchner Park. The children laughed at the employee and said to call police. Police warned the juveniles.
  • A car accident that resulted in one vehicle being on top of the other vehicle was reported at 6:33 p.m. Tuesday at College and Grand avenues.
  • A person was arrested after a fight between roommates was reported at 9 p.m. Tuesday in the 2000 block of Coronado Street.
  • An intoxicated man was warned after a caller reported at 11:44 p.m. Tuesday that she wanted the man to leave the residence in the 100 block of Arcadian Avenue.
  • A man reportedly was pushed by an unknown suspect who was near the man’s vehicle at 12:57 a.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of Bethesda Court.
  • A person was arrested after a domestic disturbance was reported at 6:14 a.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of Scott Avenue.
