Police Report: Thefts; Fraud; People Locked out of Home

Waukesha Police Department calls from Jan. 27 and Jan. 28.

  • A disorderly conduct incident was reported at 7:16 a.m. Friday at Butler Middle School.
  • Change and an iPod were stolen from a vehicle at 9:22 a.m. Friday in the 1200 block of Swallow Road.
  • A wallet was stolen from a vehicle at 11:35 a.m. Friday in the 1300 block of South Grand Avenue.
  • A well-meaning caller reported at 12:50 p.m. Friday that two men were trying to get into a residence through a window in the 100 block of Fountain Avenue. It turned out to be the people who lived there, who had locked themselves out.
  • A hit-and-run accident was reported at 1:12 p.m. Friday in the 900 block of North Barstow Street.
  • A credit card fraud incident was reported at 2:13 p.m. Friday in the 2400 block of Judith Lane.
  • A fraud incident was reported at 2:26 p.m. Friday in the 1100 block of Lawndale Avenue.
  • Two juveniles were reportedly involved in a marijuana possession case at 2:32 p.m. Friday at Horning Middle School.
  • A man who was intoxicated and off of his prescription meds while wearing a black trench coat was warned about loitering at 2:50 p.m. Friday at West Newhall and South Grand avenues.
  • An arrest was made during a traffic stop at 6:27 p.m. Friday at West Wabash and South East avenues.
  • An arrest was made after a fight was reported at 8:20 p.m. Friday in the 800 block of North East Avenue.
  • A theft of subwoofers and an amplifier from a car parked the in the 2400 block of East Moreland Boulevard was reported at 8:26 p.m. Friday.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant after checking into the seasonal homeless shelter at 1721 Northview Road at 10:18 p.m. Friday.
  • An arrest was made at 2:16 a.m. Saturday after a domestic disturbance was reported in the 100 block of Cecilia Court.
  • A group of girls were reportedly trying to fight a caller at 3:44 a.m. Saturday after they were seen trying to damage cars in the 1900 block of South Grand Avenue.
  • People were warned for loud noise at 4:22 a.m. Saturday in the 1600 block of Oakdale Drive.
