Police Report: Theft of Beer Steins; Kids Fighting on Bus

  • A person was arrested after a plea for help with an address was sent out via text message at 7:22 a.m. Friday in the 500 block of East Main Street.
  • Marijuana plants were reportedly found at 8:52 a.m. Friday in the 1100 block of Perkins Avenue.
  • The theft of two handguns was reported at 12:03 p.m. Friday in the 800 block of Niagara Street.
  • A battery was reported at 3:09 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of Sentinel Drive.
  • A juvenile and her parents were advised after it was reported at 4:24 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of Dodie Drive that the girl punched a boy in the face and gave him a nose bleed while riding the school bus.
  • A theft was reported at 4:42 p.m. Friday in the 2400 block of Kossow Road.
  • A person was arrested after it was reported at 5:24 p.m. Friday that people were fighting with staff after theft at 5:24 p.m. Friday in the 900 block of North Barstow Street.
  • Two men reportedly stole beer steins at 8:31 p.m. Friday in the 2700 block of North Grandview Boulevard.
  • A house was egged at 10:55 p.m. Friday in the 1500 block of Greenway Terrace.
  • Three people who were playing the bongos and guitar were advised about noise at 12:43 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Cook Street.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant at 1:49 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of West Main Street after a fight was reported. Police were unable to substantiate the fight allegations.
  • A woman was warned about making false complaints after she reported at 2:33 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of West Main Street after she reported that people were fighting. The call was unfounded.
  • An extremely intoxicated man, who was sleeping in the grass, was moved along at 3:11 a.m. Saturday at Arcadian and North East avenues.
