Police Report: Theft, Car Accident and Battery Over Stolen Medication

The following calls were reported to the :

  • A battery was reported over an issue with stolen medication at 1:22 p.m. Sunday at Estberg and Scott avenues.
  • requested extra patrols after a suspicious man was asking about possible shelter residents at 2:44 p.m. Sunday.
  • A person reported at 2:56 p.m. Sunday that he believed a neighbor stole his doorbell button and a cell phone that was being shipped in the 1900 block of Madera Street. An incident was filed.
  • A person was arrested after the theft of a demo cell phone was reported at 5 p.m. Sunday at a wireless store in the 2400 block of North Grandview Boulevard.
  • A person was arrested after a narcotics violating involving marijuana was reported at 6:57 p.m. Sunday in the 2000 block of Norton Avenue.
  • The theft of a diamond heart pendant, a $50 gift card, a book and a box of Prilosec was reported at 7:16 p.m. Sunday in the 1200 block of West Sunset Drive. The suspect was possibly a relative.
  • A van hit a traffic pole at 8:45 p.m. Sunday at East Moreland Boulevard and Highway 164.
  • Two juvenile girls who were reported missing by their parents in New Berlin were possibly spotted at a hotel at 12:47 a.m. Monday in the 2100 block of East Moreland Boulevard. However, the teens left the area before police arrived.
  • A teen was cited at 1:52 a.m. Monday for operating without a license in the 1100  block of West St. Paul Avenue after leaving home to cool off during an argument with the teen’s parents. The teen was also advised about a curfew violation.
  • A man was arrested after it was reported he allegedly hit a pregnant woman during a domestic disturbance at 7:28 a.m. Monday in the 1500 block of David Court.
  • Police checked for a man who was reported to be throwing snow into the road at 7:35 a.m. at Highland Avenue and East Moreland Boulevard.
  • The theft from an unlocked vehicle was reported at 8:06 a.m. Monday in the 200 block of Stewart Hill Drive.
  • A juvenile was cited at 10:29 a.m. Monday at for a violation that occurred Friday.
