Police Report: Suspicious Characters; Arguing About Fake Pot

Waukesha Police Department calls from Sept. 13 and Sept. 14.

The following information was supplied by the Waukesha Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

  • A juvenile who was refusing to go to school at 9:04 a.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of Cambridge Avenue was arrested and taken to juvenile shelter care.
  • An iPod was stolen during an overnight vehicle break-in that was reported at 9:11 a.m. Tuesday in the 1800 block of Wolf Road.
  • A theft was reported at 9:16 a.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of North Charles Street.
  • Two arrests were made during a traffic stop at 9:29 a.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of North East Avenue.
  • A duffel bag with a pair of old pants was found at 12:03 p.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of North East Avenue.
  • A person reported that more than $600 was stolen from her purse at 4:25 p.m. Tuesday in the 2700 block of North Grandview Boulevard.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant for a probation violation at 5:32 p.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of Linden Street.
  • A theft of a bird feeder was reported at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of Corrina Boulevard.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 7:36 p.m. Tuesday at South Washington and Lawndale avenues.
  • People reportedly got in a verbal argument at 8:21 p.m. Tuesday at Madison and Randall streets about one man selling his landlord’s son synthetic marijuana.
  • A person reportedly was stealing items from recycling bins at 9:32 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of North Grandview Boulevard. Police could not locate the person.
  • A person was tased and arrested during a traffic stop at 9:35 p.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of East Broadway.
  • A person reported at 9:40 p.m. Tuesday that the person suspected the painters that were hired for a property in the 800 block of South University Drive had stolen items.
  • A person was arrested after a battery was reported at 12:56 a.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of Wisconsin Avenue.
  • An anonymous caller who was driving past Fletcher Arms reported that there were four men on the side of the store at 1:08 a.m. Wednesday with their hoods up. Police responded and could not find anyone at the gun range, earlier this month, and found nothing suspicious around the building.
  • Police met with the Milwaukee Police Department at 3:59 a.m. Wednesday to recover a stolen vehicle in Milwaukee.
