Police Report: Super Bowl-Related Noise Complaint, Wallet Left Behind After Dump Truck Stolen

Waukesha Police Department calls from Feb. 5 to Feb. 7

It wouldn’t have been the Super Bowl without at least one noise complaint.

A caller in the 1700 block of Elder Street reported a noise complaint at 9:28 p.m. Sunday. The neighbor was having a Super Bowl party and the caller felt the guests were “unruly.”

  • A woman was arrested after it was reported she was in violation of a 72-hour no contact provision at 6:41 a.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of Josephine Street. The woman was accused of calling the man and telling him that if he did not pick her up, she would kill him. She also is accused of attempting to steal his car.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant at 9:25 a.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of The Strand.
  • At least two people were arrested after a domestic disturbance was reported at 4:25 p.m. Saturday in the 500 block of Bell Street.
  • A person was arrested after a battery was reported at 7:48 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Estberg Avenue.
  • Police responded to Waukesha Memorial Hospital at 7:59 p.m. Saturday where it was reported that a man who was placed under a police hold disappeared from the hospital. An incident report was filed.
  • A man was advised at 8:04 p.m. Saturday that if he returned to a residence in the 400 block of North East Avenue, he would be arrested for trespassing. The 40-year-old was reported to be banging on a door and yelling because he loved a woman in the apartment. The woman’s boyfriend reported the man was harassing them.
  • A person was arrested after a fight was reported at 1:04 a.m. Sunday in the 900 block of North Barstow Street.
  • A man who was found sleeping in a car at 1:58 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of Williams Street was advised by police after they determined he was not intoxicated. The man told police he was waiting for his intoxicated friends to come out of the bar.
  • A business in the 100 block of West Broadway reported having continuous problems with the neighbor leaving snow in the parking lot at 3:33 a.m. Sunday.
  • The theft of a dump truck was reported at 9:04 a.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of Pearl Street. A wallet was left behind at the scene.
  • A van was stolen from a parking lot at 9:53 a.m. Sunday in the 2800 block of Golf Road.
  • A person was arrested for retail theft at 11:20 a.m. Sunday in the 2300 block of Bluemound Road.
  • A missing juvenile was arrested at 7:43 p.m. Sunday in the 1600 block of East Sunset Drive.
  • A fireworks complaint was called in at 9:21 p.m. Sunday in the 300 block of Buchner Court.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving after a car accident was reported at 10:04 p.m. at Arcadian and Perkins avenues.
  • A domestic disturbance was reported at 10:46 p.m. Sunday in the2700 block of North University Drive but not charges were sought.
  • An intoxicated man was reported to be sitting in a snow bank and barely able to stand up at 10:52 p.m. Sunday at North West Barstow and East North streets.
  • Police interviewed a man who was intoxicated, walking and shouting into his cell phone at 11:48 p.m. Sunday. The man told police his girlfriend was mad that they didn’t “hook up” after the Super Bowl.
  • A woman was reported being battered at 1:25 a.m. Monday in the 200 block of Hinman Avenue in a domestic disturbance.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 3:42 a.m. Monday in the 100 block of Corrina Boulevard.
