Police Report: Stuck Cat; Stealing Lobster Tails

Waukesha Police Department calls from Oct. 26 and Oct. 27.

The following information was supplied by the  Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

  • A person reported at 7:13 a.m. Wednesday that her cat was stuck and that her husband was bleeding in the 1200 block of Swallow Road. The Waukesha Fire Department handled the call.
  • A person was arrested on a probation hold after he admitted to drinking and doing cocaine at 10:23 a.m. Wednesday in the 1900 block of Pewaukee Road.
  • A person was arrested for stealing lobster tails at 11:35 a.m. Wednesday in the 1500 block of East Moreland Boulevard.
  • Two people were arrested at 12:24 p.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of Arlington Street.
  • Three teenagers were reportedly pulling on a chain link fence and a caller told police “it didn’t look good” at 4:22 p.m. Wednesday in the 1100 block of West St. Paul Avenue. No report was taken.
  • A woman reported at 4:31 p.m. Wednesday  that her apartment in the 300 block of East Main Street was burglarized while she was in jail. The woman was missing her TV, pots and pans.
  • A harassment issue was reported at 5:54 p.m. Wednesday in the 2100 block of Macarthur Road.
  • A deer was hit by a car at 6:16 p.m. Wednesday at Merrill Hills Road and Summit Avenue. A caller asked for a tag for the deer.
  • A person was detained by police after it was reported that someone with a warrant was in the 1200 block of South Grand Avenue at 9:16 p.m. Wednesday.
  • An 87-year-old woman reported she was scared at 9:29 p.m. Wednesday because someone had rang her doorbell in the 1400 block of Magnolia Drive. Police responded and found nothing suspicious.
  • A person was arrested during a traffic stop at 9:43 p.m. Wednesday during a traffic stop at Adams and East Main strets.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant at 10:22 p.m. Wednesday during a traffic stop at Pewaukee and Bluemound roads.
  • A car vs. deer accident was reported at 10:47 p.m. Wednesday at Meadowbrook and Silvernail roads.
  • A man who had been kicked out of a bar at 11:04 p.m. Wednesday in the 1700 block of South West Avenue called back and said he was a Waukesha County deputy and asked for a person in the bar. Police advised the bar to get the man’s identification if he returned.
  • A person reported at 11:05 p.m. Wednesday in the 1300 block of Josephine Street that a suspicious man was by her vehicle. Nothing was stolen.
  • A person was found sleeping in a stairwell at 3:12 a.m. Thursday in the 200 block of South Street. Salvation Army was contacted.
