Police Report: Stolen Topper's Sign and a Lost Dog

Waukesha Police Department calls from March 25 to March 27

A Topper’s Pizza delivery driver found himself without his Topper’s sign and his car was damaged when another person stole the sign at 2:35 a.m. Saturday in the 2400 block of North Grandview Avenue.

In other Waukesha Police Department calls;

  • A disorderly conduct incident was reported at 10:53 a.m. Friday at Waukesha North High School.
  • An underage alcohol violation was reported at Waukesha North High School at 12:24 p.m. Friday.
  • Two arrests were made and a taser was used after a juvenile ran away at 12:45 p.m. Friday from the detention center at 521 Riverview Ave.
  • A person was cited for truancy at 1:36 p.m. Friday at Waukesha West High School.
  • A theft was reported at 2:56 p.m. Friday at Waukesha West High School.
  • Tools were stolen during a garage burglary that was reported at 4:51 p.m. Friday in the 600 block of North Hine Avenue.
  • A car hit and killed a deer at 7:28 p.m. Friday at Sunset and Badger drives.
  • A man was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving and a woman was arrested as well after it was reported a vehicle had crashed into a tree at 10:04 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of Arcadian Avenue. The people left the scene but police located them later. One of the arrested people was combative and was placed in a restraint chair.
  • A person was arrested and a drug recognition expert was called to the scene after a citizen called to report a hazardous driver on North Street at the Barstow Street intersection at 10:14 p.m. Friday.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 2:21 a.m. Saturday at South East Avenue and Sunset Drive.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 2:25 a.m. Saturday at South Grand and West College avenues. A passenger also was arrested.
  • A man was arrested for disorderly conduct after it was reported he kicked in a door at 2:50 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Cecilia Court. The man was reported to be causing problems and attempting to “sell his girlfriend” earlier in the 200 block of Madison Street.
  • A man was arrested for a domestic disturbance after it was reported he was breaking glass and pounding on a door at 4:59 a.m. Saturday in the 500 block of Lake Street.
  • A man was removed from the homeless shelter at 1721 Northview Road after it was reported the man had violated a no-smoking policy at 5:01 a.m. Saturday.
  • A man was arrested for the reported violation of a temporary restraining order at 3:21 p.m. Saturday in the 1500 block of David Court.
  • A domestic disturbance was reported at 3:33 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Maple Way South.
  • A man was arrested after it was reported he was driving recklessly and nearly hit children with a vehicle at 3:47 p.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of Dopp Street.
  • The theft of an iPod from a wireless store was reported at 6:36 p.m. Saturday in the 2400 block of North Grandview Boulevard.
  • An arrest was made after it was reported that an ex-boyfriend was “lurking” near and “sort of stalking” his former girlfriend at Roberta Park at 6:58 p.m. Saturday.
  • A man was arrested after it was reported he was intoxicated, belligerent, stealing cigarettes butts and falling down at 8:22 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of West Main Street.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 10:26 p.m. Saturday at West Broadway and Wisconsin Avenue.
  • A house was egged at 1:13 a.m. Sunday in the 2000 block of Melody Lane.
  • Two people were arrested following a fight that was reported at 2:03 a.m. Sunday in the 700 block of Clinton Street.
  • A car hit a deer at 2:49 a.m. Sunday at Northview Road and North Grandview Boulevard.
  • A small dog ran in front of a truck at 5:13 a.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of Burr Oak Boulevard. The dog hid underneath the truck and eventually was reunited with its owner who was looking for the dog in the area.
