Police Report: Stolen Steaks; Theft of Swim Suits

Waukesha Police Department calls from Aug. 25 and Aug. 26.

  • A theft of swimming suits from chairs was reported at 7:07 a.m. Thursday in the 1900 block of Sunnyside Drive.
  • A retail theft was reported at 8:37 a.m. Thursday in the 2300 block of Kossow Road.
  • A rock was thrown through  a car’s window at 9:05 a.m. Thursday in the 1900 blcok of Madera Street.
  • A person was arrested after it was reported a shoplifter stole a bag of sirloin steaks at 12:26 p.m. Thursday in the 1200  block of West Sunset Drive.
  • Three people reportedly were drinking beer at 2:07 p.m. Thursday at Corrina Boulevard and North Barstow Street.
  • A theft was reported at 4:23 p.m. Thursday in the 1400 block of Cleveland Avenue.
  • A person was arrested after it was reported two people were busted for retail theft at 4:43 p.m. Thursday in the 900 block of North Barstow Street. One suspect took off on foot but was found.
  • Walmart received five $20 counterfeit bills at 6:19 p.m. Thursday.
  • Graffiti was reported at 7:09 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of Harvey Avenue.
  • A person was cited for open intoxicants at the gazebo in the 100 block of Bank Street at 7:55 p.m. Thursday.
  • A fight was reported at 9:03 p.m. Thursday in the 200 block of West Main Street.
  • A suspicious person was reportedly seen possibly breaking into a car at 9:21 p.m. Thursday at Maple Avenue and West Main Street.
  • A bar in the 300 block of West Main Street closed its doors after a noise complaint was made at 9:21 p.m. Thursday.
  • A person made false allegations about a neighbor having a 13-year-old in his apartment, giving the girl marijuana and alcohol and possibly sexually assaulting the girl. The man allowed police to search his apartment, where they did not find a girl or drugs. The man told police the neighbor had stolen cigarettes, rum and prescription drugs from him, and that the neighbor was moving out in a month.
  • A vehicle was egged at 10:14 p.m. Thursday at Horeb Spring Park.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving  during a traffic stop at 10:45 p.m. Thursday in the 900 block of North Barstow Street.
  • A person was arrested for a narcotics violation after a pizza delivery driver reported bringing a pizza to the residence in the 2000 block of Dixie Drive and smelling smoke at 10:48 p.m. Thursday.
  • Two people were arrested after a fight was reported at 12:18 a.m. Friday in the 1100 block of Josephine Street.
  • A woman wearing a red night dress reportedly was trying to set off fire alarms and break into vehicles at a hotel at 12:24 a.m. Friday in the 2500 block of Plaza Court. The woman, who reportedly was combative, was arrested and transported by an ambulance.
  • A person was arrested after a domestic disturbance was reported at 12:35 a.m. Friday in the 1000 block of Delafield Street.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant after it was reported there were two men on a bench – one of them was intoxicated and talking loudly – at 12:46 a.m. Friday in the 200 block of West Main Street.
  • A person was arrested after police found two people – one who was bloody – after receiving a 9-1-1 phone call at 1:23 a.m. Friday in the 300 block of Mill Reserve Drive.
  • People having a bonfire at 1:48 a.m. Friday were warned about noise in the 2000 block of Kilps Drive.
  • A family with three students attending Waukesha North High School was “toilet papered extensively. Most of the trees in the lot had been toilet papered. Silly string had been sprayed on vehicle, side of house and a shed. Plastic forks were stuck in the grass in the back yard. Patio furniture had been thrown into the pool. Owner found toilet paper in the filtration system of the pool.” The incident was reported at 2:10 a.m. Friday in the 2900 block of Coventry Lane.
  • A person reported that there was an SUV parked on the side of the road, that she had a bad feeling about it and that she believed it could be there to kidnap passerbyers at 2:38 a.m. Friday in the 2800 block of Madison Street. Police drove passed, noted the vehicle was legally parked and that there was nothing suspicious.
  • Police escorted an intoxicated woman into her apartment after it was reported she was yelling at 3:01 a.m. Friday in the 300 block of Wisconsin Avenue.
  • An intoxicated man reportedly came to a residence, asked to use the phone and then left his belongings in the 1200 block of Lambeth Lane at 5:06 a.m. Friday. The man reportedly told the resident that police were looking for him for drunken driving. Police left a message for the man on his voicemail.
