Police Report: Stolen Spoons; More Graffiti

Waukesha Police Department calls from May 30 and May 31.

The following calls were made to the Waukesha Police Department:

  • Graffiti was reported at 9:44 a.m. Monday on the new boardwalk in the 1200 block of West Sunset Drive.
  • A vehicle was egged at 12:45 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of North Racine Avenue.
  • Several arrests were made at 1:06 p.m. Monday at Sunset Drive and West Avenue after a man reported to police that several people were chasing him with a knife.
  • A Butler Middle School teacher had his garage tagged with a swear word at 1:55 p.m. Monday in the 1600 block of Haymarket Road.
  • The theft of eight collectable spoons was reported at 2:44 p.m. Monday in the 300 block of Bank Street. No complaint was filed.
  • Police took a juvenile who previously was reported missing into custody at 3:29 p.m. Monday at Horeb Spring Park.
  • A caller requested police to remove handcuffs that the neighbor children had placed on her water pipe outside her residence. The children told the caller at 7:19 p.m. Monday in the 1500 block of Big Bend Road that they did not have the keys to the handcuffs.
  • Graffiti was reported at Hawthorne Elementary School at 6:12 a.m. Tuesday. The building was hit with seven different tags.
  • Graffiti was found at 8:20 a.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of Rempe Drive. The graffiti was on city park equipment.
