Police Report: Stolen Lawn Furniture; Fireworks; a Straw Hat

Waukesha Police Department calls from July 3 and early July 4.

Maybe they were having a big Fourth of July celebration and didn’t have enough chairs to sit on?

Either way, police were looking for two furniture thieves in the early morning of July 4.

Between eight and 10 plastic chairs were taken from the 1900 block of Chapman Drive at 12:35 a.m. Monday. A woman who lived in the neighborhood heard people crash into her grill outside and called police about the two male prowlers. The chairs were then discovered missing, according to the Waukesha Police Department’s call log.
