Police Report: Stolen Laptop; Eating at a Restaurant Without Paying

Waukesha Police Department calls from April 12 and April 13

A person had a work computer stolen that was stored in an unlocked car. The theft was reported at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of Debbie Drive.

In other Waukesha Police Department calls:

  • A disorderly conduct incident was reported at 9:41 a.m. Tuesday at Harvey Phillip Alternative School.
  • A teen was cited for truancy at Waukesha North High School at 10:02 a.m. Tuesday.
  • A man was arrested on a warrant after it was reported he had been drinking and was in a verbal argument at 10:37 a.m. Tuesday in the 2900 block of Madison Street.
  • A man was arrested after it was reported he was sitting at 11:19 a.m. Tuesday on a porch where he had been told on Sunday to leave. The man took off running but police worked with Carroll University security to bring the man into custody.
  • Police were in contact with a teacher who had threats made by a student who was suspended at 12:36 p.m. Tuesday at Harvey Phillip Alternative School.
  • The owner of a vacant building that had graffiti on it will be cited after the graffiti was reported to be a problem at 2:58 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of Maple Avenue.
  • A man was injured after a motorcycle accident was reported at 3:11 p.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of West St. Paul Avenue.
  • The theft of money from a wallet was reported at 3:52 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of North Moreland Boulevard.
  • A person was arrested after it was reported they did not have the money to pay their bill at 12:55 a.m. Wednesday in the 2400 block of North Grandview Boulevard. The person had tried to use two cards that were declined, had identification cards that did not match the credit cards and had no cash.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving after crashing a vehicle into a tree in a front lawn of a residence at 2:01 a.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of South Grandview Boulevard. An injury was reported in the accident.
