Police Report: Stolen Christmas Decorations; Cookie Monster in the Neighborhood?

  • A disorderly juvenile was arrested at 9:02 a.m. Thursday at Horning Middle School.
  • A vehicle was entered at 9:08 a.m. Thursday in the 300 block of Dodie Drive.
  • A tin of chocolate chip cookies and jumper cables were stolen from two vehicles parked at 10:19 a.m. Thursday in the 300Β  block of Westminster Drive.
  • The theft of three air conditioning units was reported at 12:31 p.m. Thursday in the 1600 block of Silvernail Road.
  • A man was reportedly walking in traffic while carrying grocery bags at 2:18 p.m. Thursday at West St. Paul and North Prairie avenues. The man was gone before police arrival.
  • Juveniles were warned to stay off the railroad tracks after it was reported at 4:50 p.m. Thursday that they were dropping rocks from the railroad bridge at West Newhall and South West avenues.
  • An intoxicated man had reportedly stumbled into two different stores at 5:24 p.m. Thursday in the 500 block of Arcadian Avenue. The clerk at one of the locations was uneasy and asked police to remove the man. The man was gone before police arrived.
  • A burglary to a storage unit was reported at 9:04 p.m. Thursday in the 1100 block of South West Avenue.
  • A Waukesha Metro Transit bus driver was cited for an incident that happened Dec. 14 at 10:11 p.m. Thursday at Madison Street and West St. Paul Avenue.
  • A man was arrested after it was reported at 10:40 p.m. Thursday that a man tried to suffocate a woman in the 2400 block of Springdale Road.
  • A brick was reportedly thrown through a window at 1:10 a.m. Friday in the 300 block of West Newhall Avenue.
  • A man was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 1:48 a.m. Friday at Lincoln Avenue and Perkins Street.
  • An arrest was made after a noise complaint was made at 1:52 a.m. Friday in the 1600 block of Swartz Drive.
  • Two people who consumed mushrooms reported at 3:47 a.m. Friday in the 200 block of Joellen Drive that they were having a bad reaction to the drug and that they thought they were going to die.
  • The theft of Christmas decorations was reported at 5:38 a.m. Friday in the 1100 block of Delafield Street.
