Police Report: Stolen Beer; Attempted Robbery; Harassing Sign

  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving at 8:33 a.m. Wednesday after a car accident was reported at White Rock Avenue and Baxter Street.
  • A person was cited for truancy at 9:23 a.m. Wednesday at Waukesha North High School.
  • Prescription medication was reported during a burglary at 9:38 a.m. Wednesday in the 2500 block of Plaza Court.
  • A fight was reported at 11:11 a.m. Wednesday at Waukesha South High School.
  • A man reportedly was receiving text messages accusing him of concealing drugs with his infant daughter at 12:20 p.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of West Newhall Avenue.
  • A theft of CDs from the Waukesha Public Library was reported at 12:24 p.m. Wednesday. The CDs were recovered.
  • A theft was reported at 1:24 p.m. Wednesday in the 2100 block of East Broadway.
  • Graffiti was reported at 1:50 p.m. Wednesday in the 2200 block of Davidson Road.
  • A person with a history of retail theft was arrested for trespassing at Walmart at 2:07 p.m. Wednesday.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant at 4:55 p.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of Sentinel Drive.
  • Juveniles who were reportedly climbing and damaging trees at 5:44 p.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of Kimberly Drive were warned by police.
  • Two arrests were made during a traffic stop at 6:06 p.m. Wednesday during a traffic stop at West St. Paul Avenue and West Sunset Drive.
  • A harassment incident was reported at 7:22 p.m. Wednesday in the 1200 block of Lambeth Road.
  • A burglary was reported at 7:43 p.m. Wednesday in the 2100 block of Silvernail Road.
  • An intoxicated man who could barely stand was taken into custody on an alcohol detention at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday at the Waukesha Public Library.
  • A theft was reported at 8:19 p.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of Fleetfoot Drive.
  • A theft of an iPod was reported at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of East Broadway.
  • A person was arrested during a traffic stop at 9:39 p.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of East Wabash Avenue.
  • A theft of a GPS and cash was reportedly stolen from an unlocked vehicle at 10:25 p.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of North Racine Avenue.
  • An intoxicated person who was passed out in a stairwell was taken home at 10:40 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of West North Street.
  • Intoxicated people were warned about loud noise at 10:47 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of Garfield Avenue.
  • An intoxicated person was arrested for disorderly conduct at 11:10 p.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of West North Street.
  • A theft of a case of beer was reported at 12:14 a.m. Thursday in the 400 block of Summit Avenue.
  • A burglary was reported at 9:01 a.m. Thursday in the 800 block of North East Avenue.
  • A theft from a semi-trailer was reported at 10:24 a.m. Thursday in the 1100 block of Silvernail Road.
  • A sign in the 200 block of North Moreland Boulevard was reportedly harassing a postal worker at 11:03 a.m. Thursday. The city’s building inspection department was contacted about the size of the sign.
  • An arrest was made after it was reported juveniles were smoking marijuana at 3:27 p.m. Thursday at Lowell Park.
  • A woman reported at 5:16 p.m. Thursday that her apartment was burglarized, her purse was stolen and that the burglars left her blinds open in the 800 block of North East Avenue. The woman later found her purse but was suspicious of her blinds, management, her door lock and individuals at work.
  • Two juveniles reportedly shot at a sign with a BB gun at Frame Park at 6:25 p.m. Thursday. The juveniles were gone upon arrival.
  • A theft of tools during a burglary was reported at 9:34 p.m. Thursday in the 1300 block of Fleetfoot Drive.
  • An attempted robbery was reported at 11:47 p.m. Thursday in the 300 block of East Main Street.
  • Intoxicated students who stole a sign and post from Carroll University were warned and the sign was returned to school administration at 2:13 a.m. Friday in the 400 block of North Grand Avenue.
  • A disorderly conduct incident was reported at 8:39 a.m. Friday at Waukesha North High School.
  • A theft of bikes was reported at 8:59 a.m. Friday in the 1500 block of North Grandview Boulevard.
  • A man wearing surgical gloves was reportedly sneaking through backyards at 9:15 a.m. Friday at Madison Street and Hyde Park Avenue. The man was gone upon police arrival.
