Police Report: St. Patty's Day Calls Keep Department Busy

Waukesha Police Department calls from March 17 and March 18.

  • A house was toilet papered overnight and reported at 8:56 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Rivera Drive.
  • Marijuana was found at 11:32 a.m. Saturday in the 900 block of Dopp Street.
  • People were reportedly arguing at 12:17 p.m. Saturday in the 500 block of West Sunset Drive, resulting in the man throwing fast food at the car.
  • People were reportedly having a verbal argument over the woman’s inability to pay for an abortion at 12:22 p.m. Saturday at Walmart.
  • A person reported at 1:55 p.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of White Rock Avenue that a person in another vehicle threw a soda at him.
  • A teen was arrested after a domestic disturbance was reported at 4:17 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Darlene Drive.
  • A person was warned to not walk along the railroad tracks with headphones in at 4:30 p.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of South West Avenue.
  • People were warned about loud noise at 4:36 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Carroll Street.
  • A man reported at 4:43 p.m. Saturday that he was attacked by his “baby’s momma,” so he stabbed her in the hand with a knife in the 2000 block of Coronado Street. The man told police he was then struck in the face with a baseball bat by one of the grandmothers. The stab wound was small and the knife was found in Christmas trees on the property. The man was arrested.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant after the DNR cited him for fishing without a license at 4:53 p.m. Saturday at Corrina Boulevard and North Barstow Street.
  • College students were reportedly yelling, screaming, drinking and making obscene gestures at 7:02 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Carroll Street.
  • A burglary to a residence in a rooming house was reported at 8:04 p.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of East Main Street.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant at 8:25 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of West Main Street.
  • A theft was reported at 9:11 p.m. Saturday in the 500 block of Progress Avenue.
  • Two people were arrested after a fight was reported at 9:24 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of North West Barstow Street.
  • People were reportedly egging cars at 10:17 p.m. Saturday at Field and Brighton drives.
  • A person was arrested during a traffic stop at 10:31 p.m. Saturday at Davidson Road and East Main Street.
  • A person was arrested after a disorderly conduct incident was reported at 10:45 p.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of West Sunset Drive.
  • A woman reported at 10:46 p.m. Saturday that drunk college kids punched and dented her car at West College Avenue and North Barstow Street. The dent was easily fixed but the woman said she had ongoing problems with area students.
  • A person was cited for loud noise at 10:52 p.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of Anoka Avenue after yelling was reported in the area.
  • A man was arrested after a domestic disturbance was reported at 11:32 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of North Washington Avenue.
  • A loud airhorn was reportedly being blown at 11:35 p.m. Saturday in the 2100 block of Kilps Drive.
  • People were reportedly throwing water balloons off a roof at 11:41 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of West Main Street.
  • A person was cited for noise after an underage drinking party was reported at 12:27 a.m. Sunday in the 2400 block of Springdale Road.
  • A woman was arrested after a domestic disturbance was reported at 1:05 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of Maple Avenue.
  • It was reported at 1:14 a.m. Sunday that someone had driven into the  Fox River near Fox River Parkway and West Sunset Drive. However, there was a boat in the river with a  light on it.
  • Intoxicated people were reportedly waiting for pizza at 1:24 a.m. Sunday in the 2400 block of North Grandview Boulevard. One was hunched over and one was laying on the ground. They were both advised by police.
  • A man was reportedly wearing a construction sign around his neck at 1:29 a.m. Sunday in the 900 block of West St. Paul Avenue. The man was gone upon arrival.
  • Police responded to the 200 block of West Main Street at 1:41 a.m. Sunday after it was reported there was a woman who was so drink that she did not know where she lived. She was dropped off at her parents’ home. She previously was involved in a fight at the Salty Toad.
  • A person was cited and released at 2:15 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of West Broadway.
  • A man was reportedly jumping into traffic and trying to stop vehicles at 2:21 a.m. Sunday at Kensington Drive and West St. Paul Avenue. Police did not locate the man.
  • Two people were arrested – one of them tasered – after a domestic disturbance was reported at 2:52 a.m. Sunday in the 400 block of East Main Street.
  • A woman was taken to the hospital after it was reported a man was beating her in the backyard at 3:07 a.m. Sunday in the 400 block of Madison Street. The woman was very intoxicated and police did not have the name of the suspect as of 4:06 a.m. Sunday.
  • A man was arrested after a domestic disturbance was reported at 3:22 a.m. Sunday in the 1800 block of Highland Avenue. Dispatch also heard the man tell the woman that “if they come in here, I’ll kill all of them” before the phone disconnected.
  • Two vehicles were entered overnight but nothing was stolen. The incident was reported at 6:09 a.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of Dopp Street.
