Police Report: Skateboarding in Street; Disrupting Birthday Party

Waukesha Police Department calls from Oct. 1 and Oct. 2.

  • A domestic disturbance was reported at 9:56 a.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of Pewaukee Road. The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department was out with the subjects.
  • A domestic abuse situation was reported at 12:08 p.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of Burr Oak Boulevard.
  • A juvenile was cited for smoking and was turned over to her mother after it was reported at 2:28 p.m. Saturday that two girls were disrupting a child’s birthday party at Horeb Spring Park.
  • A caller reported that children were loitering with a large stick at 4:14 p.m. Saturday and that the caller felt they were up to no good in the 900 block of Dopp Street. Police responded and found that the children were playing catch with a stick and that no illegal activity was occurring.
  • An old light box that was in the pedestrian tunnel was reported smashed at 4:20 p.m. Saturday at Blackhawk Trail and Highway 164.
  • An 8-year-old was warned by police to stay off a property in the 1500 block of Mohawk Lane at 4:44 p.m. Saturday after it was reported that he had broken into a garage three times.
  • The theft of a purse from a vehicle was reported at 5:25 p.m. Saturday in the 2300 block of West St. Paul Avenue.
  • An intoxicated woman was warned after it was reported she was arguing with other tenants in the hallway at 7 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Wisconsin Avenue.
  • An ambulance was called at 7:27 p.m. Saturday for an intoxicated man who was laying in a parking lot at Martin and South streets. The man had a laceration above his eye.
  • A verbal domestic dispute was reported at 7:40 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Dodie Drive, but it was not physical so no report was filed.
  • People were advised after an argument over a missing brush pad was reported at 8:53 p.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of Buena Vista Avenue.
  • The theft of TVs and DVD players was reported at 9:55 p.m. Saturday at Walmart.
  • A person who was sitting on the side of the road with legs in the road was warned by police at 10:15 p.m. Saturday at Manhattan Drive and East Main Street.
  • A suspicious person was reportedly digging through garbage at 10:23 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Mountain Avenue. The person was gone before arrival.
  • A loud noise complaint was made at 10:36 p.m. Saturday in the 800 block of West College Avenue. The party shut down.
  • Two people who were skateboarding in the street at midnight Sunday were advised about their actions at Madison and Delafield streets.
  • Two people who were intoxicated and were causing problems at 12:36 a.m. Sunday at a bar in the 300 block of Williams Street were warned to leave the bar and to not return.
  • A person reported receiving harassing text messages at 1:32 a.m. Sunday in the 2100 block of Kensington Drive.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving at 1:43 a.m. Sunday in the 1600 block of East Sunset Drive.
  • Several intoxicated people were reportedly being loud at 2:01 a.m. Sunday in the 800 block of Summit Avenue. The individuals were gone before police arrival.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving at 2:02 a.m. Sunday in the 900 block of West St. Paul Avenue.
  • An intoxicated, argumentative person was warned by police to not walk in the middle of the road at 2:24 a.m. Sunday at North Grand and East Park avenues.
  • A group of people reportedly were being loud at 2:29 a.m. Sunday in the 200 block of West Main Street. Police responded and noted that the individuals were gone before arrival.
  • A caller reported that an intoxicated man was knocking on her door at 2:34 a.m. Sunday and said something about a burglar before walking off in the 100 block of South Grandview Boulevard. The caller said there was now a cone in front of the residence. Police checked the area and the man was gone before they arrived.
  • Loud intoxicated people were warned at 2:35 a.m. Sunday in the 800 block of Eales Avenue.
  • Police were asked to respond after it was reported an intoxicated man had attacked a caller at 3:01 a.m. Sunday in the 500 block of North Prairie Avenue. The caller did not want to file a complaint and the individual was gone on police arrival.
  • Police made contact at 3:14 a.m. Sunday with a man who was parked outside a shop in the 200 block of West St. Paul Avenue with lights on the car. The man told police his business was burglarized in the past and that he was testing police to see their response when he was acting suspicious outside the business. The man was given better alternatives to work with the police department, crime prevention and patrol officers.
  • A caller reported at 4:42 a.m. Sunday that five male juveniles were looking into the windows at the . Police responded and did not locate anything suspicious.
