Police Report: Scrap Metal Theft; Truancy

  • Mailboxes were hit at 7:38 a.m. Wednesday in the 900 block of River Park Drive.
  • A juvenile was cited for truancy at 8:49 a.m. Wednesday at Waukesha North High School.
  • A theft of scrap metal by an employee was reported at 9:47 a.m. Wednesday in the 1300 block of Ellis Street.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving at 9:59 a.m. Wednesday in the 1800 block of South West Avenue. Another arrest was made for disorderly conduct. A fight was also reported during the incident.
  • A theft of money from a box at a car wash was reported at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the 1300 block of South West Avenue.
  • Graffiti was reported at 11:08 a.m. Wednesday in the 2400 block of North Grandview Boulevard.
  • A criminal damage to property incident was reported at 11:38 a.m. Wednesday in the 2000 block of Dixie Drive.
  • A theft of an iPod was reported at 12:24 p.m. Wednesday at Waukesha South High School.  A person was taken into custody.
  • A juvenile was cited at 1:41 p.m. Wednesday at Waukesha West High School.
  • Two juveniles were arrested for truancy after it was reported that they were walking at 1:42 p.m. Wednesday, possibly with two stolen iPods from Waukesha North High School.
  • An arrest was made after juvenile trouble was reported at 3:53 p.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of Jackson Court.
  • A theft was reported at 5:12 p.m. Wednesday in the 2000 block of Woodburn Road.
  • Juveniles were reportedly loitering at 5:50 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of South Grand Avenue.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant at 8:22 p.m. Wednesday at West Newhall and South Grand avenues.
  • An arrest was made at 9 p.m. Wednesday after a battery was reported in the 2100 block of Laura Lane.
  • A hit-and-run car accident was reported at 9 p.m. Wednesday at East Racine Avenue and Highway 164.
  • An arrest was made following a suspicious person incident in the 1500 block of North University Drive at 10:15 p.m. Wednesday.
  • A person contacted police at 10:17 p.m. Wednesday that a neighbor was possibly smoking marijuana and being obnoxious at 10:17 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of Kimberly Drive. Police walked through the building and detected no marijuana odor, determining that the call was unfounded.
  • One person was detained by police after a domestic disturbance was reported at 12:40 a.m. Thursday in the 500 block of Summit Avenue.
  • An ambulance was requested after a car hit a tree at 3:39 a.m. Thursday in the 100 block of Cambridge Avenue
