Police Report: Runaway Child; Stolen Coconut

  • A Waukesha firefighter found a 7-year-old girl who told the firefighter she ran away from home because her parents argue too much at 7:14 a.m. Thursday in the 1400 block of East Moreland Boulevard. The girl’s father hadn’t been home that day and police turned the girl over to her mother.
  • A person was arrested during a traffic stop at 10:39 a.m. Thursday at Butler Drive and Jennifer Lane.
  • A car was keyed in the 2100 block of Kensington Drive. The incident was reported at 11:05 a.m. Thursday.
  • A battery was reported at 1:43 p.m. Thursday at Waukesha South High School.
  • A juvenile was arrested for disorderly conduct at the Waukesha Public Library at 3:12 p.m. Thursday.
  • A theft was reported at 6:34 p.m. Thursday in the 1200 block of Michigan Avenue.
  • A burglary was reported at 9:23 p.m. Thursday in the 2400 block of Springdale Road.
  • A man stole a plastic coconut from a display tree at 9:31 p.m. Thursday but returned it when confronted by the caller at Key Westconsin, 331 Riverfront Plaza.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 1:29 a.m. Friday at the Five Points.
  • A man reportedly tried to steal several magazines at 5:33 a.m. Friday after leaving Waukesha Memorial Hospital from treatment. Security chased him down and he returned the magazine.
