Police Report: Recyclables Stolen; Gang Fight; Boxing Gloves

Waukesha Police Department calls from Oct. 18 and Oct. 19.

  • A theft of recyclables was reported at 8:48 a.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of South Porter Avenue.
  • A third-grader took off from school at 9:01 a.m. Tuesday after kicking his dad in the 500 block of East Newhall Avenue. The boy was reportedly carrying a stick and hitting trees. The boy was returned to school.
  • Disorderly conduct was reported at 10:03 a.m. Tuesday at Horning Middle School.
  • A theft of wheels from a vehicle overnight was reported at 10:26 a.m. Tuesday in the 1900 block of East Main Street.
  • People reported a fight was occurring at 11:42 a.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of Mccall Street. Police responded and found a man was wearing boxing gloves and had been hitting things, not  person.
  • A man was wearing a green bathrobe, was talking to himself and yelling, which was reportedly scaring children at 12:43 p.m. Tuesday at Cavalier Drive and East Roberta Avenue. Police noted no law violation occurred.
  • Cash and coins were stolen during a burglary at 12:48 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of South Hartwell Avenue.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant and for possession at 1:02 p.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of Born Place after it was reported that he would be arriving to do his laundry.
  • A person was arrested after a gang-related fight was reported at Waukesha South High School at 1:37 p.m. Tuesday.
  • A vehicle was reportedly egged at 1:56 p.m. Tuesday in the 1200 block of Fleetfoot Drive.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant at 3:31 p.m. Tuesday in the 1900 block of Pewaukee Road.
  • It was reported that two children were not picked up from school at 4:29 p.m. Tuesday at Banting Elementary School. Their father, who had been sleeping, responded to pick them up.
  • A person was advised to stop calling Walgreens at 2700 N. Grandview Blvd. after it was reported she kept calling multiple times a day without a prescription at 4:54 p.m. Tuesday.
  • Teenagers in a red car reportedly yelled out at children to ask if they wanted candy at 6:09 p.m. Tuesday in the 1200 block of West Sunset Drive. The car did not stop.
  • A person reportedly being out nearly $700 from a fraudulent credit card purchase at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday in the 2400 block of Silvernail Road.
  • A juvenile was arrested and turned over to a parent at 8:27 p.m. Tuesday during a traffic stop in the 1100 block of West St. Paul Avenue.
  • A person was reportedly driving with a can of beer in his hand at 9:15 p.m. Tuesday in the 2000 block of Silvernail Road. The man was gone before police arrived.
  • A person was arrested at 9:59 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of West Sunset Drive.
  • A person was arrested during a traffic stop at 12:31 a.m. Wednesday at Nike Drive and East Main Street.
  • A person was reportedly ringing a doorbell at 1:26 a.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of Delafield Street.
