Police Report: Possible Overdose, Hit-and-Run

Also trespassing, unruly behavior and theft.

A man was taken to the emergency room in an ambulance after police were called to check on him Tuesday evening to the 300 block of West College Avenue.

According to the police log, a friend called police after he posted an alarming message on his Facebook page that said couldn’t he live anymore and wishes God would forgive him for what he just did. Upon arrival, police found the man in his basement, unconscious from a possible overdose.

Police responded to a call from the railroad company of a trespasser walking on the tracks near West Newhall and South West Monday late afternoon. Police were unable to locate the suspect.

 The police were called to the principal’s office at , 400 N. Grand Ave., on Tuesday afternoon regarding an unruly student. Police spoke to the student about his behavior.

 A caller reported they were battered and harassed at a house in the 1200 block of Cavalier Drive Monday morning. Police took someone into custody regarding the incident.

A caller reported the theft of a bike from a locked underground garage in the 2800 block of North University Drive Tuesday.

A hit-and-run accident with no injuries was reported in the 600 block of West St Paul Avenue Monday evening. Two pick-up trucks were hit, a Chevy and a Ford.

 A number of thefts of cell phones and personal electronic devices were reported. An iPod Touch was stolen Sunday from , 201 W. Roberta Ave. On Monday, an iPhone was reported stolen from 1100 block of Delafield, possibly between 9 and 10am. Resident in the 300 block of East Broadway reported that their son’s iPhone was stolen on Tuesday.
