Police Report: Person Scammed; Stealing Food

Waukesha Police Department calls from Jan. 5 and Jan. 6.

  • A renter reported at 8:43 a.m. Thursday that unknown people were reportedly defecating in the 200 block of Arcadian Avenue.
  • A juvenile was reportedly battered by another juvenile at 3:23 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of North Grandview Boulevard.
  • A fraud incident was reported at 3:42 p.m. Thursday in the 1400 block of South West Avenue.
  • Juveniles were reportedly throwing rocks at passing cars at 5:07 p.m. Thursday at Kimberly Drive and Michigan Avenue.
  • A person was advised about holding up traffic in a crosswalk at 5:23 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of East Broadway.
  • One arrest was made while police were searching for three teenage boys who reportedly were going through vehicles in the 200 block of Wisconsin Avenue before fleeing on foot at 6:13 p.m. Thursday.
  • A person was scammed out of $1,500 through a Facebook scam at 6:21 p.m. Thursday in the 2400 block of Springdale Road. The money was wired to an unknown person in the Philippines. The person told police that the person sent the money to help a friend’s sick aunt.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant at 7:20 p.m. Thursday in the 2700 block of Burton Drive.
  • Two people were arrested at 8:41 p.m. Thursday during a traffic stop near the Waukesha Police Department.
  • A child abandonment incident was reported at 8:56 p.m. Thursday in the 900 block of Harding Avenue.
  • Three young men reportedly stole $38.09 worth of food and fled on foot at 3:03 a.m. Friday in the 2800 block of North Grandview Boulevard.
