Police Report: Painting Stolen; Ice Cream Dumped on Vehicle

Waukesha Police Department calls from Aug. 4 and Aug. 5.

A battery was reported at 8:50 a.m. Thursday at the Waukesha Metro Transit Center. The altercation occurred Monday but the victim was scared to report the incident. The victim broke bones in half of his face and needs a plastic surgeon to repair the damage.

In other Waukesha Police Department calls:

  • A debit card was reportedly used for a $4,389.61 transaction overseas in an identity theft.
  • The theft of a 1990 black Chevy van was reported at 10:28 a.m. Thursday in the 1300 block of Ellis Street.
  • Two people were arrested after a theft of a bike was reported at 11:38 a.m. Thursday at Waukesha Public Library.
  • A theft of a painting was reported at 1:33 p.m. Thursday in the 300 block of Bank Street.
  • Juveniles reportedly playing in a fountain at 2:24 p.m. Thursday in the 200 block of Bank Street.
  • A vehicle was reportedly keyed at 2:29 p.m. Thursday in the 700 block of Scott Avenue.
  • A theft of $3,557.55 from a vehicle was reported at 3:03 p.m. Thursday in the 2300 block of Kossow Road.
  • An accident involving an injury was reported at 4:56 p.m. Thursday at North West and Wisconsin avenues.
  • A person reportedly dumped ice cream all over a vehicle at 5:40 p.m. Thursday in the 1400 block of South West Avenue.
  • A baggie of marijuana was found at 6:13 p.m. Thursday in the 300 block of West Main Street.
  • A man was “strongly advised” after it was claimed he threatened that he had a gun during an altercation at 6:54 p.m. Thursday at Horeb Spring Park. The man did not have a firearm but admitted to being in a fight.
  • Neighbors had a disagreement after a rummage sale and one neighbor reportedly wrote in sidewalk  “You owe me money, (expletive)” at 7:45 p.m. Thursday in the 1800 block of South Grand Avenue.
  • Two men were cited after they were caught on the OptiCop flipping picnic tables at 12:16 a.m. Friday at Horeb Spring Park.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving at 1:29 a.m. Friday during a traffic stop in the 1100 block of West Sunset Drive.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving at 2:03 a.m. Friday during a traffic stop at Baird Street and South West Avenue.
  • Juveniles were reportedly playing on playground equipment at 2:20 a.m. Friday in the 200 block of Oakland Avenue. The people were advised about park hours. 
  • People were warned after a loud party was reported at 3:29 a.m. Friday in the 1500 block of Roxury Way.
  • A person was arrested for a sexual assault at 4:18 a.m. Friday in the 1300 block of South West Avenue.
  • A person reportedly went through a car at 6:41 a.m. Friday in the 1600 block of Rushmore Drive.
