Police Report: Paintballs Damage Property; Disorderly Conduct

Waukesha Police Department calls from Jan. 7 and Jan. 8.

  • An attempted auto theft was reported at 9:11 a.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of Poplar Drive.
  • A person wrote “have a nice day” with shoe polish on a park sign and also used the shoe polish on a picnic table at Waukesha Spring Park, 600 N. Hartwell Ave. It was reported at 9:45 a.m. Saturday.
  • Police were searching for a possible suspect in a shooting in Walworth County at 1:37 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Rivera Drive. The guns recovered by police were clean and no report was filed.
  • A 26-year-old woman had pain to her ribs and left ankle after she was hit by a car while biking at 2:07 p.m. Saturday at East and College avenues.
  • A person in the 200 block of Maria street reported that the person’s neighbors were “illegals” who were dealing drugs and having a large party. Police made contact, found nothing suspicious at a children’s birthday party at 7:27 p.m. Saturday. The people throwing the party felt the neighbor had an issue with their Hispanic ethnicity.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant at 8:06 p.m. Saturday in the 2000 block of Macarthur Road.
  • Nine damage to property incidents were reported between 8:41 p.m. and 10:20 p.m. Saturday in the 400 and 500 block of Northwest Barstow Street and the 300 block of Bidwell Avenue. The houses and vehicles were hit with paintballs.
  • A rock was thrown through a window at 10:30 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of Jackson Court.
  • A woman was arrested after it was reported at 11:24 p.m. Saturday that the woman was violating a restraining order in the 300 block of South Grand Avenue.
  • An arrest was made after a disorderly conduct incident was reported at 1:17 a.m. Sunday in the 2100 block of Cardinal Drive.
  • A group of men were reportedly asking people to sell them cocaine at 1:35 a.m. Sunday in the 2400 block of North Grandview Boulevard. No complaint was desired but the bar wanted the people removed from the property. The people were not at the bar when police arrived.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving at 1:51 a.m. Sunday during a traffic stop at Hyde Park and Summit avenues.
  • An intoxicated woman wearing a Detroit Lions jersey reportedly threw a beer on bar security at 2:05 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of Williams Street. No complaint was filed.
  • A juvenile was turned over to his mother and warned about curfew at 4 a.m. Sunday at South Grand and Fountain avenues.
