Police Report: Online Dating; OWI-Related Crash

Waukesha Police Department calls from April 16 and April 17.

A woman reported that she met someone on an online dating website and the man came to her house and wanted to have sex in exchange for money. The man wasn’t leaving until she called police at 11:40 pm. Saturday in the 1500 block of Big Bend Road.

In other Waukesha Police Department calls:

  • A car was damaged while parked at a bar during the night in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue. The incident was reported at 3:55 p.m. Saturday.
  • Three people were cited during a traffic stop for underage alcohol violations at 12:19 am. Sunday in the 1100 block of Motor Avenue.
  • An intoxicated man was warned about his behavior after it was reported he was pounding on windows at 2:25 a.m. Sunday in the 200 block of West Main Street.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving following a hit-and-run accident at 4:09 a.m. Sunday at South Hine Avenue and Dopp Street.
