Police Report: Naked Man in Apartment; Cape-Wearing Thief

Waukesha Police Department calls from Oct. 14 and Oct. 15.

  • A theft of yellow and orange lights were reported at 1:43 p.m. Saturday in the 800 block of West Moreland Boulevard.
  • A person was arrested at 1:56 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of North West Barstow Street after it was reported a man had his pants open and appeared to be passed out in a car.
  • A football player from Dominican High School threw a bag of ice out the window at 3:30 p.m. Saturday on Interstate 94 while riding on a bus. A woman who was driving nearby was upset and tried to order the bus to the side of the road in the 1800 block of Silvernail Road.
  • An intoxicated man reportedly was yelling at a clerk after the clerk refused to sell alcohol to the man at 7:58 p.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of Summit Avenue. The man was moved alone.
  • Two men were arrested at 9:43 p.m. Saturday at Walmart for retail theft.
  • Two arrests were made after it was reported at 10:56 p.m. Saturday in the 1600 block of East Sunset Drive that a suspicious juvenile wearing a green cape was stealing items. The items stolen included beer, four watches, an mp3 player, change and a backpack.
  • Two men reportedly were loitering while wearing masks at 10:57 p.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of West Sunset Drive.
  • A person reported at 11:31 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of South Street that a person was attempting to gain entry to the person’s residence via a window. Police did not locate anything suspicious.
  • Intoxicated people reportedly were fighting over travel arrangements at 11:58 p.m. Saturday at Cleveland and Perkins avenues. No complaints were filed.
  • An intoxicated family was reportedly having problems at 12:06 a.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of East Main Street.  No one wished to file a complaint.
  • A loud party was reported at 12:08 a.m. Sunday in the 100 block of South Hartwell Avenue.
  • A man and woman, who were intoxicated, were reportedly arguing about the man’s ex-wife using his last name at 1:26 a.m. Sunday in the 800 block of Scott Avenue.
  • A loud party was reported at 1:36 a.m. Sunday in the 1400 block of Rockridge Road.
  • An intoxicated person was involved in a verbal argument at 1:53 a.m. Sunday in the 1700 block of Indianwood Lane.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicate driving during a traffic stop at 2:02 a.m. Sunday at South and North Barstow streets.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 2:05 a.m. Sunday at Tenny and East College avenues.
  • A person was arrested at 2:21 a.m. Sunday in the 200 block of Madison Street.
  • A man who reportedly was loud, talking strangely and was naked at 2:49 a.m. Sunday in an apartment building in the 300 block of North East Avenue was detained by police. The man previously was  verbally threatening to shoot people earlier Saturday afternoon at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 3:05 a.m. Sunday at South Moreland Boulevard and Dopp Street.
  • People who had a reasonable-sized fire and were not being too loud, despite a neighbor’s complaint, agreed to put the fire out and go inside at 3:27 a.m. Sunday in the 2300 block of Pebble Valley Road.
