Police Report: Mowing Lawn While Carrying Gun; Plants Cut

Waukesha Police Department calls from May 22 and May 23.

A caller reported a neighbor was mowing the lawn with a gun strapped on at 2:55 p.m. Sunday in the 1500 block of Blackhawk Trail. The caller was advised on the open carry law, according to the police call log.

In other Waukesha Police Department calls:

  • Daylilies that were planted in the 100 block of Garfield Avenue were cut during the night and reported to police at 8:57 a.m. Sunday.
  • A citation was given at 8:59 a.m. Sunday at Waukesha South High School after a juvenile-related problem was reported.
  • A theft of watches was reported at 10:34 a.m. Sunday in the 2100 block of Silvernail Road.
  • A juvenile was verbally uncontrollable and making threats toward a parent at 11:09 a.m. Sunday in the 100 block of Columbia Avenue.
  • The theft of about $425 from envelopes that were in the office at a church in the 200 block of Wisconsin Avenue was reported at 11:23 a.m. Sunday.
  • A theft of a gas can was reported at 1:52 p.m. Sunday in the 1400 block of Pearl Street.
  • A woman was arrested after it was reported she was harassing an elderly woman at 3:29 p.m. Sunday in the 800 block of Beechwood Avenue.
  • A man reported ay 3:32 p.m. Sunday he believed his garbage was being stolen in the 600 block of Garfield Avenue.
  • A theft of hydrocodone was reported at 5:25 p.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of Delafield Street.
  • A person was arrested after a battery was reported at 6:21 p.m. Sunday in the 300 block of North West Avenue.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving at 2:13 a.m. Monday at West Main and Martin streets.
  • A person was arrested at 3:42 a.m. Monday on a warrant at South East Avenue and East Sunset Drive.
  • A man was arrested for disorderly conduct at 5:14 a.m. Monday in the 100 block of South Washington Avenue.
  • A man was arrested after it was reported he was attempting to steal lights and grills at 5:42 a.m. Monday in the 700 block of Sylvan Terrace.
