Police Report: Motor Stolen; Dog Injured; Change Thrown

Waukesha Police Department calls from June 1 and June 2.

The following calls were reported to the Waukesha Police Department:

  • Graffiti was reported at 8:07 a.m. Wednesday in the 1400 block of Summit Avenue.
  • A burglary to an apartment was reported at 8:39 a.m. Wednesday in the 1800 block of South Grand Avenue.
  • A man was arrested for theft after he reportedly threw change at a caller in the 800 block of West Moreland Boulevard, did not pay for a hair cut and told the caller at 10:06 a.m. Wednesday that he was β€œgoing to meet his maker.”
  • A theft of a trailer and construction equipment was reported at 11:22 a.m. Wednesday in the 1300 block of East Main Street.
  • The theft of a motor from a boat that was parked on a lawn in the 1000 block of Silvernail Road was reported at 12:29 p.m. Wednesday.
  • A possible burglary was reported at 1:16 p.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of West Wabash Avenue. There were no signs of forced entry but a caller reported that someone had been in the house and gone through things.
  • A woman was arrested for retail theft at 1:39 p.m. Wednesday in the 1200 block of West Sunset Drive.
  • A pick up truck reportedly crashed into a fence at 4:19 p.m. Wednesday in the 1700 block of Cottonwood Drive. The vehicle fled the scene.
  • A woman was arrested after a domestic disturbance was reported at 6:24 p.m. Wednesday in the 1200 block of Wisteria Lane.
  • A woman was arrested after a domestic disturbance was reported at 8:56 p.m. Wednesday in the 2700 block of North University Drive. The caller reported there were swords in the closet but the caller did not believe the woman would use the swords.
  • A woman reported at 10:27 p.m. Wednesday that here window was smashed out and that her dog was injured in the 100 block of Fountain Avenue. Police investigated and noted the dog broke the window.
  • An attempted burglary was reported at midnight Thursday in the 1900 block of Bonnie Lane.
