Police Report: Many OWI Arrests; Scattered Garbage; Throwing Salsa

Waukesha Police Department calls from Aug. 10 through Aug. 13.

  • Garbage was scattered in a yard at 8:21 a.m. Friday in the 2700 block of Brighton Drive.
  • An arrest was made for a probation violation at 11:32 a.m. Friday in the 100 block of Cook Street.
  • An arrest was made during a traffic stop at 11:52 a.m. Friday at South Prairie Avenue and West Sunset Drive.
  • A car was reportedly keyed at 12:18 p.m. Friday in the 900 block of Westowne Avenue.
  • A theft was reported at 1:45 p.m. Friday in the 1900 block of Hunter Court.
  • A woman was arrested for bail jumping after she hit her sister in the ankle at 3:27 p.m. Friday in the 900 block of Eales Avenue.
  • An arrest was made after an accident involving an injury was reported at 3:31 p.m. Friday in the 2300 block of West St. Paul Avenue.
  • A hit-and-run accident was reported at 5:48 p.m. Friday at Jennifer Lane and East Moreland Boulevard.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant at 6:16 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of Sentinel Drive.
  • A woman reported at 7:03 p.m. Friday that her landlord put a substance in her bathtub in the 800  block of North East Avenue. The air freshener had fallen off the wall and into the sink. She was also concerned that someone was putting soap in her coffee.
  • Juveniles were reportedly climbing a roof of a school at 8:05 p.m. Friday in the 1100 block of South West Avenue.
  • People reported that they were being invited to an underage drinking party on Facebook at 8:53 p.m. Friday in the 1900 block of Center Road. A woman at the party told officers her son was turning 21 but they did not have alcohol at the party. Police were called back to the residence at 1:08 a.m. and the woman was warned about noise.
  • A woman reported she had the elevator door intentionally closed on her at 9:14 p.m. Friday in the 100 block of Corrina Boulevard. The woman did not require an ambulance and no report was taken.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving at 9:35 p.m. Friday at White Rock Avenue and East Moreland Boulevard.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving at 10:05 p.m. Friday at Magnolia Drive and Irving Place after hitting a curb so hard the headlight went out.
  • A person reported at 10:25 p.m. Friday that a neighbor made a racial slur toward her in the 200 block of Union Street.
  • A person was cited for underage drinking after a scuffle was reported in a yard at 10:38 p.m. Friday in the 1100  block of Dana Lane.
  • A person was arrested after a theft was reported at 11:24 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of West Broadway.
  • People were advised about loud noise at 11:36 p.m. Friday in the 1800 block of Kensington Drive.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving at 11:38 p.m. Friday in the 1600 block of Summit Avenue.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving at 12:44 a.m. Saturday after it was reported that a person had urinated outside a bar, left, returned and was looking to start a fight in the 900 bock of Friedman Drive.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving at 1:28 a.m. Saturday in the 900 block of North Barstow Street.
  • Teenagers were reportedly chasing a vehicle at 1:45 a.m. Saturday in the 2300 block of West St. Paul Avenue.
  • A person was arrested at 2:31 a.m. Saturday for a domestic disturbance in the 1800 block of Kensington Drive.
  • Five people were reportedly yelling and throwing salsa at 2:58 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of West Main Street.
  • People in the 400 block of Kimberly Drive were warned to keep the noise down at 3:20 a.m. Saturday.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving after crashing into a tree at 3:21 a.m. Saturday in the 1900 block of Kensington Drive.
  • A person who may have had a malfunctioning electronic monitoring bracelet was taken into custody at 4:19 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Frame Avenue.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving at 4:39 a.m. Saturday following a car crash at East Wabash and East Roberta avenues.
  • A burglary was reported at 5:07 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Third Street.
  •  A theft of items was reported at 6:59 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Born Place.
  • A person was arrested during a traffic stop at 8:09 a.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of South Grandview Boulevard.
  • A person reportedly wrote “douche, learn how to park” with marker on a vehicle parked in the 300 block of West North Street at 9:58 a.m. Saturday.
  • A theft of medication was reported at 10:12 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of South West Avenue.
  • A theft of a library card was reported at 10:46 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Randall Street.
  • A woman in the 2700 block of Summit Avenue reported at 2:35 p.m. Saturday that she thought her 13-week-old Jack Russell terrier was stolen.
  • A woman in the 1100 block of Western Avenue reported finding McDonald’s trash in her yard at 3:20 p.m. Saturday. The woman was concerned it may have been groupies of her husband’s band.
  • A man with dirty hair asked a woman if she had ever been molested at 4:23 p.m. Saturday at West Main and North Barstow streets. The man was gone upon police arrival. The woman only wished him warned about his conduct.
  • Juveniles were reportedly on the roof of a school at 4:35 p.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of South East Avenue. The juveniles told police they were up there briefly to retrieve an item.
  • A person with a bow and arrow was advised about the use of archery in the city at 5:39 p.m. Saturday at Mountain and Lawndale avenues.
  • A person was warned after calling police on his neighbors for loud noise in retaliation after his neighbor called in seven noise complaints about his dog at 8:38 p.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of Lincoln Avenue.
  • People were warned after setting off fireworks at 9:05 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Waverly Place.
  • A loud party and bonfire was reported at 9:26 p.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of Fleetfoot Drive.
  • Juveniles were reportedly playing football in a parking lot at 9:42 p.m. Saturday in the 500 block of Bluemound Road. They were gone upon police arrival.
  • A large graduation party was reported at 10:03 p.m. Saturday in the 1600 block of Legend Hill Lane. Police were informed no one was drinking underage at the party.
  • A person was detained by police after a prowler was reported at 10:03 p.m. Saturday in the 700 block of Delafield Street.
  • A noise complaint was made at 10:20 p.m. Saturday in the 2600 block of North University Drive.
  • Loud music was reported at 10:42 p.m. Saturday at Ruben Drive and Melody Lane.
  • A theft of a landscape light was reported at 11:21 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of East Rivera Drive.
  • An arrest was made after a battery at a wedding was reported at 11:53 p.m. Saturday in the 2800 block of Golf Road.
  • A fight in a ballroom was reported at 12:26 a.m. Sunday in the 2800 block of Golf Road.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving after hitting a light pole at 1:48 a.m. Sunday in the 800 block of East Main Street.
  • A man reported at 2:33 a.m. Sunday that he was being threatened in the 300 block of Dodie Drive after a drug deal.
  • A large after-bar party was reported at 2:41 a.m. Sunday in the 400 block of Delafield Street. People were cooperative with police and left the area.
  • A person was arrested during a traffic stop at 9:34 a.m. Sunday in the 1400 block of South West Avenue.
  • A burglary to a vehicle was reported at 10:49 a.m. Sunday in the 2800 block of North University Drive.
  • A vehicle had its window busted and radio missing at 12:46 p.m. Sunday. A witness saw two men jumping a fence near Anoka and Perkins avenues.
  • A person was arrested during a domestic disturbance was reported at 1:41 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of Walton Avenue.
  • A man was arrested after a domestic disturbance was reported at 2:40 p.m. Sunday in the 1600 block of Blackhawk Trail.
  • Police were asked to remove an intoxicated woman from a home at 2:42 p.m. Sunday after a man reported that the woman, who used to live with him, had maliciously grabbed his testicles. The woman was not home at the time of the call and she had moved out of the residence.
  • A person in the 1200 block of Tenny Avenue reported at 2:46 p.m. having continuous problems with damage to property, including nails in the driveway and ketchup and mustard being poured on his vehicle.
  • A theft of tools was reported at 4:17 p.m. Sunday in the 1200 block of Fleetfoot Drive.
  • A juvenile was arrested at 4:35 p.m. Sunday in the 1600 block of South West Avenue.
  • A person was detained on a warrant at 5:28 p.m. Sunday in the 200 block of Madison Street.
  • While police were responding to a suspicious call in the 500 block of Elizabeth Street, a man who was losing his home asked officers to take his four swords to be destroyed at 7:11 p.m. Sunday.
  • Juveniles were reportedly arguing over a skateboard at 7:39 p.m. Sunday in Horeb Spring Park.
  • An arrest was made at 8:16 p.m. Sunday after a fight was reported in the 1600 block of Summit Avenue.
  • A neighbor dispute over a dog’s death was reported at 8:26 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of East Park Avenue.
  • An arrest was made after juvenile trouble was reported at 8:41 p.m. Sunday in the 300 block of South East Avenue.
  • Arrests were made after a suspicious vehicle was reported at 9:29 p.m. Sunday at Saratoga Road and Butler Drive.
  • A theft of a bike was reported at 8:32 p.m. Sunday in the 2700 block of North University Drive.
  • People were warned after it was reported they were screaming at 9:38 p.m. Sunday at White Rock and North Hartwell avenues.
  • A harassment incident was reported at 11:10 p.m. Sunday in the 2100 block of Laura Lane.
  • An arrest was made after a domestic disturbance was reported at 11:23 p.m. Sunday in the 300 block of Walton Avenue.
  • A person was reportedly blaring rap music from a vehicle at 3:41 a.m. Monday at Northview Road and North University Drive.
