Police Report: Man Upset with 'Injustices' by Governor Walker; Smashing Windows with a Tire Iron

  • A 17-year-old was taken to juvenile intake after refusing to go to school at 8:30 a.m. Friday in the 2500 block of Pebble Valley Road.
  • A woman reportedly was throwing garbage around a parking lot because she was upset that people were spreading rumors about her at 8:57 a.m. Friday in the 1100 block of White Rock Avenue. The landlord said he would clean up the trash.
  • A school resource officer at Waukesha North High School requested a preliminary breath test be delivered to her office at 9:46 a.m. Friday.
  • A juvenile trouble incident was reported at 10:49 a.m. Friday at Waukesha South High School.
  • A woman reported that she received her vehicle back from her ex-husband after two years at 12:56 p.m. Friday in the 2900 block of Lander Lane. The woman wanted police to respond because she found marijuana leaves in the vehicle. Police destroyed what appeared to be marijuana that was left in the ashtray.
  • A vehicle got into an accident after swerving to miss a boy on a bike at 2:54 pm. Friday at North Hine and Summit avenues.
  • A mental health service called the Waukesha Police Department at 3:17 p.m. Friday to report a Waukesha man had called about a paranoid man who reported he had a number of issues from injustices from Gov. Scott Walker, was afraid people were following him and that soon the police and the media would know what he was going to do. Police have had contact with the man several times recently but he was not in Waukesha during Friday’s call. The man was advised to call 9-1-1 if he had suicidal thoughts.
  • A person reported at 3:20 p.m. Friday that he was driving a friend around Waukesha Tuesday evening, went into a gas station in the 400 block of Summit Avenue and returned to find the friend had taken off with the vehicle. The caller contacted police after trying to get the vehicle back from the friend.
  • An intoxicated man who had a stick in his mouth and was laughing hysterically to himself reportedly was scaring children at 4:28 p.m. Friday in the 1100 block of Heyer Drive. The man was gone before police arrival.
  • A woman was arrested after it was reported that she was smashing windows in a house with a tire iron at 4:31 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of Freeman Street.
  • A theft of a 48-piece set of flatware with gold plating from Germany was reported at 5:06 p.m. Friday in the 1100 block of White Rock Avenue.
  • A man reported that his ex-wife violated a no-violent contact order by throwing their son’s shoes at him at 6:10 p.m. Friday in the 800 block of West Moreland Boulevard. The woman missed her ex-husband when she threw the shoes. The man did not file a complaint.
  • A bicycle was stolen from Waukesha Public Library at 6:50 p.m. Friday. Police located the bike and it was returned to its owner.
  • A woman reported that her 11-year-old child escaped out the window at 7:26 p.m. Friday in the 1800 block of Sunkist Avenue. The woman will be working with Waukesha County to install an alarm system to keep the child from running away. The child was found.
  • A man reportedly had a temper tantrum after a fight with his brother in Milwaukee at 10:26 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of Buchner Court.
  • Police took a driver into custody and then to the hospital at 10:29 p.m. Friday at South East Avenue and Highway 164 after it was reported the vehicle was sitting in the median with a smashed windshield. Police believed the driver was under the influence of narcotics.
  • Two arrests were made for theft at 10:55 p.m. Friday at Walmart.
  • A suspicious person was reportedly trying to enter a car at 12:09 a.m. Saturday at West Laflin and South Grand avenues. The man had locked his keys in the car.
  • A person was arrested after a reckless vehicle was reported at 12:58 a.m. Saturday in the 1700 block of South West Avenue.
  • A 15-year-old who was found wandering in the 400 block of Barney Street was warned about curfew and was turned over to his grandma at 1:24 a.m. Saturday.
  • A noise complaint was made at 1:35 a.m. Saturday after a caller reported there were too many people inside a building. No report was filed.
