Police Report: Man Looks Dead, Cited for Noise; Theft From Vehicles

Waukesha Police Department calls from June 22 and June 23.

Looking deceased yet noisy at the same time? Apparently it can happen.

An extremely intoxicated man who appeared to be deceased was cited for a loud noise violation at 7:08 p.m. Wednesday.

Police entered the house after the man could be seen unconscious inside a residence in the 800 block of North Greenfield Avenue. Police were called because there was excessively loud music playing from the residence, according to the Waukesha Police Department call log.

  • A theft from an unlocked vehicle was reported at 7:43 a.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of Western Avenue.
  • An mp3 player was stolen from an unlocked vehicle, which was reported at 8:07 a.m. Wednesday in the 1300 block of Aldoro Drive.
  • A theft from an unlocked vehicle was reported at 8:22 a.m. Wednesday in the 1900 block of Garland Avenue.
  • A burglary was reported at 11:14 a.m. Wednesday in the 1600 block of East Racine Avenue.
  • A person was arrested for a theft at 11:44 a.m. Wednesday at Sentinel Drive and Madera Street.
  • Three windows were broken overnight – possibly by a BB gun – and reported to the police department at 2:14 p.m. Wednesday in the 500 block of Fredrick Street.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant for littering at 4:54 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of Northwest Barstow Street.
  • A GPS and camera were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 1100 block of Irving Place at 6:56 p.m. Wednesday.
  • A house was spraypainted at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday in the 1200 block of Wisteria Lane.
  • Unlocked vehicles were entered and a wallet was stolen at 7:51 p.m. Wednesday in the 1500 block of Birch Drive.
  • Three people were warned after it was reported they were smashing carts into vehicles at 10:02 p.m. Wednesday in the 1200 block of West Sunset Drive.
  • Signs were tagged with graffiti at 10:39 p.m. Wednesday at Sunnyside and Avalon drives.
  • Three people were advised about skateboarding by gas pumps at 11:56 p.m. Wednesday in the 1500 block of East Moreland Boulevard.
  • An intoxicated man reported to police at 12:09 a.m. Thursday that two men had weapons and were going to rob him at Carroll and North Barstow streets. However, police learned from the man that he began following the two men and then he believed they looked like they were going to rob him. The two men never spoke to the man.
  • Police conducted a high-risk traffic stop at 1:05 a.m. Thursday in the 1900 block of West St. Paul Avenue after noticing a gun in the vehicle. The gun turned out to be a BB gun but the vehicle occupants were reportedly uncooperative with police.
  • A person was reportedly ding-dong ditched at 2:11 a.m. Thursday in the 200 block of Tenny Avenue.
  • An egg was thrown at a window in the 300 block of West Newhall Avenue at 2:54 a.m. Thursday.
  • The theft of a basket of metal plates was reported at 5:49 a.m. Thursday in the 1200 block of Sentry Drive.
