Police Report: Man Injured in Fight; Fundraiser Money Stolen From Vehicle

Waukesha Police Department calls from June 21 and June 22.

Several arrests were made after a fight was reported at 8:28 p.m. Tuesday at West Main and North Barstow streets. Police used the K-9 unit as several suspect reportedly were hiding in the area. One victim was transported by ambulance as he was bleeding from the eyes, nose and head.

In other Waukesha Police Department calls:

  • A theft of a vehicle was reported at 7:27 a.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of East Wabash Avenue.
  • The theft of money and checks from a Town of Waukesha Fire Department fundraiser was reported at 7:37 a.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of Debbie Drive. The items were taken from a vehicle that was parked overnight.
  • A possible burglary was reported at 7:42 a.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of East Broadway.
  • The theft of a canvas bag containing nursing supplies and a wallet was reported at 8:22 a.m. Tuesday in the 1300 block of Hickory Drive South.
  • A bike was stolen from a residence at 8:27 a.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of West Park Avenue.
  • A theft from an unlocked vehicle was reported at 9:04 a.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of East Wabash Avenue.
  • The theft of prescription reading glasses and change from a vehicle was reported at 9:38 a.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of Debbie Drive.
  • A person was arrested after a disorderly conduct incident was reported at 11:05 a.m. Tuesday
  • A retail theft was reported at 1:09 p.m. Tuesday in the 2300 block of Bluemound Road.
  • A laptop was stolen from an unlocked car at 1:23 p.m. Tuesday in the 1200 block of Hickory Drive North.
  • Juveniles were reportedly swearing and breaking loitering rules at 2:46 p.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of Spring Street.
  • The theft of $88 from a residence was reported at 5:27 p.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of Wisconsin Avenue.
  • Police were asked to move along a group of five people drinking on the Waukesha Public Library front stairs at 8:33 p.m. Tuesday. The group moved before police arrived.
  • A car was reportedly ransacked but nothing was taken at 11:25 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of East Wabash Avenue.
  • Two people were arrested after it was reported that two people had guns at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday in the 2000 block of Macarthur Road. The caller reported hearing screaming from the apartment after those carrying the guns walked into the apartment.
  • A person was arrested after bailing out of a squad car at 12:26 a.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of East Moreland Boulevard. A restraint chair was requested for the escapee after being taken into custody.
  • A person was arrested after a domestic disturbance was reported at 12:57 a.m. Wednesday in the 2000 block of Macarthur Road.
  • A man and a woman were arrested during a traffic stop at 3:08 a.m. Wednesday at West Main and North Barstow streets. One of the arrests were for intoxicated driving.
  • A fence was tagged with graffiti at 6:25 a.m. Wednesday in the 1500 block of Fox River Parkway.
  • A person was arrested for retail theft at 6:27 a.m. Wednesday in the 1400 block of East Moreland Boulevard.
