Police Report: Man Hit With Log; More Graffiti

An intoxicated homeless man received medical attention from the Waukesha Fire Department after he was hit over the head with a log by another homeless man at 8:43 p.m. Monday in an encampment near Frame Park at East Moreland Boulevard and White Rock Avenue, according to the Waukesha Police Department’s call log.

The intoxicated man reportedly was beaten because he would not leave the camp.

Police searched the area and requested the Canadian National Railroad delay sending trains in the area as they were searching near the train tracks, according to the blotter.

Police took one man into custody and took photos of the crime scene, the call log states.

  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving at 11:24 a.m. Tuesday at Summit Avenue at Summit Avenue and North Grandview Boulevard.
  • Police were asked to assist a 76-year-old woman who locked herself out of the house at 12:39 a.m. Tuesday in the 1900 block of Wall Street when there was a bat or a bird in her house. Police could not locate the animal.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving at 2:14 a.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of West Moreland Boulevard.
  • Police made contact with an elderly man at 2:54 a.m. Tuesday in the 1600 block of Chestnut Lane. The man was taking his daughter to the airport and was unsure of how to work the windshield wipers.
