Police Report: Man Arrested After Standoff; Suspicious Man Doing Push-Ups

Waukesha Police Department calls from July 30 and July 31.

A man was arrested after a near hour stand off with police after a domestic dispute was reported at 9:51 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of Fleetfoot Drive. It was reported there was a weapon in the residence, creating a large police response.

In other Waukesha Police Department calls:

  • An attempted burglary was reported at 9:56 a.m. Saturday in the 1800 block of South West Avenue.
  • A woman who was reported as a walk away from the Huber jail facility was arrested at 11:41 a.m. Saturday after the woman was spotted in the 200 block of Randall Street.
  • Two women reportedly were arguing on a city bus at 12:04 p.m. Saturday at South Grand and Estberg avenues. No complaint was filed after the women got off the bus.
  • A juvenile was arrested at 12:13 p.m. Saturday in the 800 block of Delafield Street after the juvenile was reportedly being disorderly.
  • A caller reported that a suspicious man was doing push ups and walking around the playground at 12:20 p.m. Saturday at Cutler Park. The caller reported the man did not have any children at the park.
  • The theft of a bike from Buchner Pool was reported at 6:59 p.m. Saturday.
  • Rowdy juveniles were reported at Horeb Spring Park at 7:03 p.m. Saturday.
  • A man was arrested on a third drunken driving offense at 7:10 p.m. Saturday during a traffic stop at Fox Point Drive and Wisteria Lane.
  • Police called a cab for an intoxicated man who was sitting in front of a downtown business at 7:18 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of West Main Street.
  • The theft of a cell phone was reported at 8:57 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of Madison Street.
  • A babysitting reported hearing pounding on a house at 10:42 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of Mccall Street. Police checked the area and did not locate anything suspicious.
  • An 11-year-old boy who ran from police at 11:56 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of West Sunset Drive was warned and turned over to his mother.
  • A fight was reported at 12:31 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of Williams Street.
  • A cab was called for two extremely intoxicated people who police believed drove with four children to a restaurant at 12:33 a.m. Sunday in the 2300 block of West St. Paul Avenue. However, both people denied driving and there were no witnesses who saw the driver of the group.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 2:26 a.m. Sunday in the 700 block of Morgan Avenue.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 2:26 am. Sunday in the 200 block of North West Avenue.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 2:50 a.m. Sunday at West St. Paul Avenue and West Sunset Drive.
  • People were warned after a fight was reported at 3:42 a.m. Sunday in the 2100 block of Macarthur Road.
