Police Report: Kickball vs. the Neighbors; Cars Egged

Waukesha Police Department calls from Oct. 16 and Oct. 17.

  • Graffiti was reported at 7:42 a.m. Sunday in the 200 block of North Barstow Street.
  • Vehicles were egged overnight and reported at 10:21 a.m. Sunday in the 1700 block of Oakdale Drive.
  • It was reported at 12:39 p.m. Sunday that a woman was smoking a crack pipe in the 600 block of Madison Street. Police responded and reported the woman showed no signs of drug use and that the woman claimed the neighbors do not like her.
  • Six car that were parked at Waukesha North High School overnight were egged at 1 p.m. Sunday.
  • A car was reported damaged at 1:02 p.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of Michigan Avenue, and the tires were flattened with a screwdriver.
  • A car was reported damaged at 1:07 p.m. Sunday in the 900 block of Michigan Avenue.
  • Three teenage boys were reportedly kicking over garbage cans at 1:26 p.m. Sunday in the 1800 block of Center Road. The juveniles were gone before police arrived.
  • People were reportedly yelling over a borrowed bicycle at 2 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of Jackson Court.
  • A neighbor problem was reported at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the 200 block of Millwood Lane. Children accidently kicked a ball on to the neighbor’s property, and the neighbor told them they were not allowed to play kickball in the city limits. The children were not being allowed to go into the yard to retrieve their ball. The issue between the two neighbors was resolved.
  • An off-duty sheriff’s deputy pulled over a reckless driver at 3:09 p.m. Sunday at Kensington Drive and West St. Paul Avenue after a possible drunken driver was reported. The person was not intoxicated and was warned about the person’s driving habits.
  • A theft of a cell phone from a bar in the 300 block of Williams Street was reported at 4:50 p.m. Sunday.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving at 4:54 p.m. Sunday at East Moreland Boulevard and Kossow Road.
  • A man, who was a patient at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, called police at 7:42 p.m. Sunday stating that he wanted to confess because he had done something wrong. The man, who had mental issues, was feeling guilty that he poured a red – possibly toxic – liquid down the drain and he was afraid that he had polluted Lake Michigan. The man was reassured that the Pewaukee treatment facility would keep the red liquid from affecting anyone.
  • People were reportedly revving up cars at 8:24 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of North Hine Avenue. The vehicles were gone before police arrival.
  • A juvenile was chaptered on a mental hold after it was reported she injured her father in a scuffle at 8:55 p.m. Sunday in the 200 block of Waverly Place. The father was not alert but was conscious and breathing when police arrived. The Waukesha Fire Department assisted the man with the medical issues.
  • A juvenile who was previously reported missing returned home to the 1400 block of Cottonwood Drive at 9:09 p.m. Sunday. The juvenile was arrested and taken into juvenile intake.
  • A juvenile reportedly was arguing with her parents at 9:25 p.m. Sunday in the 2800 block of Brighton Drive over her baby. The girl’s father agreed to let the issue drop for the evening and the girl agreed to not run away.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving following a hit-and-run car accident at 11:03 p.m. Sunday at East Broadway and Highway 59.
  • A person reported at 11:19 p.m. Sunday that an 18-year-old man had a pistol in his waist band, lifted up his shirt and threatened the person in the 800 block of Meadowbrook Road. The man then left the area in a white Malibu.
  • A woman reported having problems with her boyfriend at 11:24 p.m. Sunday in the 700 block of Maple Avenue and that he was going to plant drugs in her vehicle for calling 9-1-1. Police responded, learned the intoxicated couple had been in a verbal argument and the man left for the evening.
  • A 15-year-old girl was arrested after it was reported at 11:55 p.m. Sunday that the girl was being uncontrollable in the 1600 block of South Prairie Avenue.
  • A person was arrested at 12:18 a.m. Monday at Hinman and West College avenues.
