Police Report: Intoxicated Drivers; Retail Thefts

Waukesha Police Department calls from March 8 and March 9

A woman reported to police at 10:32 a.m. Friday that a man in between age 17 and 24 stopped her while she was walking her dog at Kensington and Minaka drives. The man told her she was beautiful and asked her to pose nude for a magazine.

In other Waukesha Police Department calls:

  • A person was arrested for retail theft at 12:36 p.m. Friday in the 1200 block of West Sunset Drive.
  • A person was cited for open intoxicants and underage alcohol violation at 2/l10 p.m. Friday after a suspicious person was reported in the 200 block of Brook Street.
  • A theft of a ring that could have occurred in December was reported at 2:43 p.m. Friday in the 1400 block of Rockridge Road.
  • A person was arrested after an employee at a fast food restaurant in the 100 block of Northwest Barstow Street reported at 5:29 p.m. Friday that a group had left behind a suspicious substance.
  • A person was arrested after it was reported there was loud music playing in a vehicle at 7:03 p.m. Friday in the 1400 block of Dopp Street.
  • A person was arrested after a theft was reported at 7:48 p.m. Friday at Walmart, 2000 S. West Ave.
  • Two thefts were reported around 8:15 p.m. Friday in the 2800 block of Golf Road.
  • A person was arrested after a domestic disturbance was reported at 9:21 p.m. Friday in the 2500 block of Plaza Court.
  • Children were reported to be climbing on a roof at Hawthorne Elementary School at 10:17 p.m. Friday. The children were gone before police arrived.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 11:42 p.m. Friday at Corrina Boulevard and North Barstow Street.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 11:47 p.m. Friday at South East and Fountain avenues.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 2:02 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Northwest Barstow Street.
  • Police called a cab for two men who were intoxicated and could barely walk. One of the men was throwing up at 2:26 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of West Main Street.
  • An intoxicated man was arrested after it was reported he was causing fights at 2:56 a.m. Saturday in the 1600 block of Summit Avenue.
