Police Report: High-Speed Chase; Smashing Pumpkins

  • A person was arrested on a warrant at 9:25 a.m. Friday at North Hartwell Avenue and East Main Street.
  • Graffiti was reported at 10 a.m. Friday in the 1900 block of Silvernail Road.
  • A theft was reported at 12:29 p.m. Friday in the 200 block of East Sunset Drive.
  • An arrest was made after it was reported at 7:16 p.m. Friday in the 2200 block of North Grandview Boulevard that a man smelled like marijuana.
  • Juveniles were warned after they smashed a pumpkin in the street at 7:32 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of North Racine Avenue.
  • A person crashed a vehicle after leading police on a high-speed chase at 8:23 p.m. Friday that lasted for more than five miles near North Hartwell Avenue and Mccall Street.
  • A theft of a purse was reported at 10:15 p.m. Friday in the 1400 block of Summit Avenue.
  • A theft of $30 was reported at 10:50 p.m. Friday in the 1700 block of Elder Street.
  • A person was arrested after a disorderly conduct incident was reported at 11:17 p.m. Friday in the 100 block of Bank Street.
  • A person was arrested at 12:19 a.m. Saturday at Maple Avenue and Prospect Court.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 1 a.m. Saturday at Niagara Street and Manhattan Drive.
  • A person was cited for loud noise at 1:29 a.m. Saturday in the 1900 block of Madera Street.
  • Four people were reportedly in a hot tub, swearing and being loud at 3:24 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of South Washington Avenue. They were warned.
  • A domestic disturbance was reported at 3:35 a.m. Saturday in the 2000 block of Macarthur Road. The suspect fled from the scene.
