Police Report: Helium Balloon Triggers Alarm; Throwing Beer Case

Waukesha Police Department calls from June 27 and June 28.

A motion alarm that sounded at 5:33 a.m. Tuesday in the 2100 block of Silvernail Road was canceled after it was determined a helium balloon set off the alarm. 

In other Waukesha Police Department calls:

  • A person was arrested after a gas drive off was reported at 9:28 a.m. Monday in the 2500 block of North Grandview Boulevard.
  • Gang-related graffiti was reportedly on a dumpster at 9:40 a.m. Monday in the 1900 block of Madera Street.
  • A juvenile reportedly trashed his mother’s house at 1:03 p.m. Monday in the 100 block of Columbia Avenue.
  • Items were stolen from a vehicle at 3:53 p.m. Monday in the 1100 block of Downing Drive.
  • An ordinance citation was given after a person was heard by dispatch saying “We can’t be caught together. Head for the camp.” The 911 call was for a person who was throwing up blood in the 600 block of North Hartwell Avenue at 7:03 p.m. Monday
  • A woman reported at 7:59 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of Brasted Place that her Green Bay Packers flamingos were stolen from her yard. The woman did not wish to file a complaint but wanted to alert police to the crime in the area.
  • An intoxicated man reportedly was passed out on a bus and would not get off at 8:33 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of East St. Paul Avenue
  • Juveniles reportedly were hitting rocks with bats at 8:40 p.m. Monday at South and North Barstow streets.
  • Three juveniles were warned at 9:16 p.m. Monday in the 2100 block of Madison Street after they were seen playing chicken with traffic.
  • Arrests were made after it was reported there were people passing around a pipe while parked in the 1300 block off Rockridge Road at 9:35 p.m. Monday.
  • A man was reportedly intoxicated and dancing at 10:34 p.m. Monday in the 900 block of Fleetfoot Drive. The man was gone before police arrived.
  • A man was arrested after it was reported he threw a case of beer at a woman’s head at 11:04 p.m. Monday in the 500 block of Randall Street.
  • An arrest was made after a battery was reported during a domestic disturbance at 1:14 a.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of Buena Vista Avenue.
  • A caller who contacted 911 at 1:32 a.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of North West Avenue was cited after falsely saying her neighbor dumped water on her air conditioner.
