Police Report: Gum on Gate; Attempted Theft of Canoe; Rolling Basketballs

  • A gate lock and a mailbox were reportedly damaged by gum at 8:53  a.m. Tuesday in the 1900 block of Madison Street.
  • An arrest was made at 9:25 a.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of North Grand Avenue.
  • Someone reportedly dumped fish in a pond at 3:38 p.m. Tuesday in the 3500 block of White Oak Way.
  • A theft of two garbage cans was reported at 5:58 p.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of Beechwood avenue.  
  • An arrest was made at 6:07 p.m. Tuesday after a reckless motorcyclist was reported in the 1900 block of Silvernail Road.
  • An uncontrollable juvenile was taken into custody at 6:53 p.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of Greenmeadow Drive.
  • An 11-year-old boy was hit by a vehicle while biking at 6:53 p.m. Tuesday at Arcadian and North East avenues. The child did not need medical attention.
  • It was reported that people were smoking K2 – a synthetic marijuana at 7:18 p.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of North West Avenue. One individual consented to a search and no contraband was found. The person was drinking a Spanish green tea and told police they could test it if they wanted.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving after attempting to change a flat  tire at 7:24 p.m. Tuesday in the 1300 block of Navajo Lane.
  • An intoxicated man was turned over to his father after attempting to steal a canoe in the 200 block of Arcadian Avenue at 8:21 p.m. Tuesday. The man was trying to drag the canoe by hand and kept falling over.
  • Juveniles were reportedly rolling a basketball into the street and laughing at drivers who tried to stop for the ball at 8:26 p.m. Tuesday in the 1000 block of North Grandview Boulevard. The juveniles were gone upon police arrival.
  • An identity theft incident was reported at 8:27 p.m. Tuesday in the 3600 block of Rivers Crossing Drive.
  • A person was arrested on a warrant at 9:50 p.m. Tuesday at Waukesha West High School.
  • A domestic disturbance was reported at 11:56 p.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of Arcadian Avenue.
  • Three people were arrested at 12:36 a.m. Wednesday after it was requested that police remove an intoxicated person in the stairwell at the Waukesha Metro Transit parking garage, 212 E. St. Paul Ave.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving at 12:56 a.m. Wednesday at Tenny Avenue and East Sunset Drive.
  • A man was reportedly going through recycling bins at 1:05 a.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of Kimberly Drive.
  • An intoxicated man reportedly fell out of a car at 6:19 a.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of Bethesda Court. The man was too intoxicated to know his address, but police located a sober friend and turned the man over to the friend.
  • A man told police at 6:21 a.m. Wednesday that a woman he had alter his pants wouldn’t stop harassing him because she wanted a sexual relationship in the 700 block of North Grand Avenue.
