Police Report: Guitar Hits Woman; Intoxicated Woman Found with Stroller

  • Police facilitated getting a ride home for a woman and her daughter at 10:45 a.m. Saturday after it was reported she almost fell twice while pushing a stroller near Meadowbrook Road and Summit Avenue. The woman was intoxicated.
  • A window in a Ford Mustang was reportedly smashed at 11:39 a.m. Saturday in the 2800 block of North University Drive.
  • A verbal domestic dispute was reported at 1:08 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Joellen Drive.
  • A man reported at 2:29 p.m. Saturday that a woman approached him and asked for $7 in the 2300 block of Bluemound Road.
  • A person was arrested for retail theft at 2:44 p.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of West Sunset Drive.
  • A theft of a guitar was reported at 4:26 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Third Street.
  • A man was reportedly on his knees with his hands in the air while another man was in the yard with just his underwear at 4:45 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of Barney Street. The caller thought it was suspicious but the call was canceled after it was noted the men were not outside anymore.
  • A domestic disturbance was reported at 4:53 p.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of Michigan Avenue. The woman told police she had given the man a bloody nose after they were arguing about him sniffing polish to get high. She told police she physically assaulted him to prevent him from leaving. The woman was given options and police checked the area for the man, who had left.
  • A woman whose mouth was bleeding was warned about asking customers at fast food places for money at 5:21 p.m. Saturday in the 2300 block of East Moreland Boulevard. The woman got on a bus to return to Milwaukee where she lives in a group home.
  • People agreed to turn down the music despite police finding that the noise was not excessive following a complaint at 5:26 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Cambridge Avenue.
  • A man in the 1500 block of Aldoro Drive reported finding explicit text messages on his teenage daughter’s phone at 7:01 p.m. Saturday.
  • Identity theft was reported at 7:07 p.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of Phoenix Drive.
  • Police assisted the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department with a disorderly man who was in the emergency room at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at 7:24 p.m. Saturday.
  • A man found himself suspended from work at Walmart after getting into a confrontation with his father over his use of his parents’ car at 7:47 p.m. Saturday. The man had the car for two days without permission and told his parents that the vehicle was stolen. The man had actually hid the car on a nearby street so he could continue using the vehicle. All individuals involved were advised by police.
  • People were warned at 8:11 p.m. Saturday after a homeless man was found sleeping in the hallway of an apartment building in the 400 block of Wisconsin Avenue.
  • A person was arrested at 8:52 p.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of Baxter Street.
  • An intoxicated man fell and injured his face at 8:59 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Corrina Boulevard.
  • A woman told another person at 9:03 p.m. Saturday in the 800 block of North East Avenue that she had been battered and had broken ribs. The woman was taken to the hospital.
  • A person was cited after it was reported at 11:06 p.m. Saturday that older teens were skateboarding in the 2200 block of Pewaukee Road.
  • People were warned at 11:17 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Mccall Street after a party involving people walking through back yards was reported.
  • A person reported at 11:23 p.m. Saturday that someone tried to open the door of the residence in the 1900 block of Woodburn Road. The dog scared the person away, but the person left a cell phone behind.
  • A man was detained by police after it was reported that the man was trying to start a fight at 11:43 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of South Street.
  • A person was warned about loud noise at 11:43 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of South West Avenue.
  • A loud party was reported at 11:45 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Corrina Boulevard. People were advised.
  • A person was cited for unlawful use of the telephone at 11:49 p.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of Josephine Street after he called 9-1-1 while he was intoxicated and said he has questions.
  • A group of suspicious people wearing hoodies were reportedly walking at 12:15 a.m. Sunday in the 2000 block of South Grand Avenue. They were gone before police arrived.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 12:25 a.m. Sunday at West St. Paul Avenue and West Sunset
  • A person was warned about the noise after a loud Halloween party with a bonfire was reported at 1:37 a.m. Sunday in the 900 block of Beechwood Avenue.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 1:43 a.m. Sunday at South East Avenue and East Sunset Drive.
  • People were advised after a loud party was reported at 1:57 a.m. Sunday in the 100 block of Cecilia Court.
  • A woman reported she had money stolen from her car at 2:43 a.m. Sunday after she gave three men a ride at North West and Wisconsin avenues. Police were unable to locate the woman who originally called police because she left the area.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 2:45 a.m. Sunday in the 1900 block of Macarthur Road.
  • A person was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving during a traffic stop at 2:46 a.m. Sunday at Jasper Lane and North Grandview Boulevard.
  • A woman was arrested after it was reported at 3:25 a.m. Sunday that she hit a man in the head with a 6-inch bolt during a domestic disturbance in the 1000 block of Delafield Street.
  • A woman was taken to the hospital via ambulance to receive treatment for a laceration she received by being hit in the face with a guitar at 5:35 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of Maple Avenue. Police were called to the area for a domestic disturbance after a person reported the woman was screaming and pounding on the person’s door.
